Jodie Comer wins the Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a play for Prima Facie
As one who was lucky enough to see Prima Facie on Broadway, I assure you that this performance was literally jaw-dropping. Warmest congratulations to Ms. Comer, who by all accounts is a grounded, humble, kindhearted person who also happens to be an acting super-phenomenon.

thank you for these additions! i originally started this post with the intent to highlight more recent examples of them twinning. so i made this post without dipping into the classic examples from rep era and earlier.

hi spade, if i may vent out a bit here? it's frustrating how even if toe is finally out of the picture, what's making it so difficult to be a kaylor are other gaylors. a specific type of group of gaylors are completely erasing the kaylor canons, they feel so entitled like an article such as the rolling stone one is the first time this ever happened in gaylor history when in reality it happened already with kaylor. reputation is about karlie kloss ppt was also linked. they keep saying that this is taylor's way of saying to not discuss about kaylor anymore, and i know that's not true but our small community is really bullied time and time again. it's difficult. i know this is probably part of the plan, but why do kaylors always have to get the short end of the stick every single time? we never get rest. we are always attacked even if we do stay in our lane. i know you've already mastered ignoring the hate, but for some of us, we still haven't. thank you for keeping you blog, cause tumblr really is the only safe space for kaylors. it's tiring.

I would also say, anon, that part of the issue is that these other parts of the fandom subconsciously or consciously fear we have been right all along. More than anything, I believed that is what drives them. They just don’t want to have been wrong, and that leads to their bullying at the targets (us) who have likely been right this whole time.
This is why she is easing them into the truth. It gives them a chance to come around at their own pace, rather than shock and awe.

You guys are sleeping on the 2012 Mean performance. Not only was it good, but the irony of it all. She got a shit ton of backlash for her weak vocals in her 2010 Grammys performance, especially from Bob whatever his last name is (who was very condescending in his review) and then she sings Mean at the Grammys 2 years later (a song about that one critic who went too far) and replaces one of the lines with 'someday I'll be singing this at the Grammys' and wins 2 Grammys for that song! Queen shit
She also got a rousing standing ovation for that 2012 performance. That’s always made me happy.
