I love drawing cute scenes.
I know I don’t usually reblog things here but please more people look at this amazing thing.

lets hear it for transgenderism and faggotry. can I get a round of applause for transgenderism and faggotry
also shoutout to queerness and dykishness and gender fuckery. if you reblog this post you hate conservatives
In honor of 50k notes this post is dedicated to the queer identity that makes you specifically the most uncomfortable
Happy bi week! Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was married for much of her life to fellow artist Diego Rivera, and also had relationships with several women.
infatuated with weird trans girls. rb if you're also a weird trans girl
New skeleton war lore just dropped
[ID: text post from crumplelush
So, in the ongoing saga of my four year old figuring out Judaism, I think she thinks that Rosh Hashanah is just the start of spooky season?
She's decided that, since skeletons are scary, they are therefore evil. Thus, since we have skeletons inside our bodies, that must be where the yetzer hara lives. The skeletons inside us are what do bad things through us, and thus it stands to reason that the only way to defeat the yetzer hara and perform true repentance is to have the rabbi remove your skeleton, bring it to life, and then fight it.
I cannot convince her that this is really, really not what's going to happen on Yom Kippur. She has already packed her backpack with her toy sword and a water bottle in preparation. Because I guess you have to stay hydrated if you're going to defeat your own skeleton.
I'm not really sure where to start on this one. / END ID]
been thinking about the word queer lately and it just means so much to me and it's so hard to put into words
like yes "not gay as in happy but queer as in fuck you" but also it feels like so much more
queer feels like a snuggly soft blanket you can burrow into
queer feels like coming in from the cold to find a warm mug of hot chocolate made just for you
queer feels like a tight hug from someone you care about
queer feels like a friend you haven't seen in ages but when you get together it's like you were never apart
queer feels like the first crisp autumn day where you can put on a fuzzy sweater and boots or the first spring day when you can take off your jacket and let the sun warm your skin
queer feels like an afternoon nap with a cat snuggled in your lap or on your chest or at your side purring so softly
queer feels warm and happy and soft and inviting and welcoming
queer feels like "I love you" and "you belong here"
did you know? there is a type of metal chariot, powered by the bone-ichor of ancient dragons, that you can use to access—and quickly traverse—a labyrinthine realm of desolate, pitch-black stone known to scientists as “the american highway system”
he has a flower for you!
Sighthounds are such a hilarious group of dog breeds. Like someone decided to try if it was possible to possess a sock puppet with life, give it a full spectrum of mammal emotions, while still neglecting to give the poor creature a brain.
Attack from Space (1965)
Great flick. The clocky twisting starfish guys are my fav.
I met a traveller from an antique land Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed: And on the pedestal these words appear: ‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!’ Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
I met a programmer the other day Who said “A vast and blocky plastic box Stands in my workspace; in it, so they say Half-dead, a chip from Intel lies, which clocks 566 M-hertz; the CD drive And fifteen gigs, and bundled AOL Must have seemed neat when Reagan was alive But now the stickers on its lifeless shell Seem only fit sad memories to revive And on the light beige case are words that say: “THIS COMPUTER IS NEVER OBSOLETE SURF! INVEST! EMAIL! TYPE! SHOP! TRAVEL! PLAY!” The monitor is dark; near its defeat My new and shiny MacBook whirs away

Reblogging for the repoetry.
saying cats don't contribute to the household is slander: they do have a job and it's going into mystery crevices and collecting all the cobwebs on their stupid little head
A prime example of a very hard worker
everytime I remember that lesbian couple that have a marble statue of the two of them embracing and sleeping on a bed together over where their graves will be because the artists didn’t believe they would be able to be married before they died, so what they couldn’t have in life they could have in death, I fucking breakdown
memorial to a marriage; patricia cronin
“on july 24th, 2011- the first day that same sex marriage was legal in new york state, particia cronin and deborah kass got married. that same year the marble ‘memorial to a marriage’ was replaced with a bronze version. rainwater pools in the space between their two sculpted bodies, and falling leaves catch on the metal in the autumn. the two women sleep peacefully through snow and ice, and the scorching days of summer. over time the hands of cemetery visitors will wear down the bronze, burnishing it into a smooth shine. one day this will mark the final resting place of the two women. and someday people will have to remember that there was a time, long ago, when this was a memorial to a marriage that two women never thought they’d have.”

happy 20th anniversary (nov 3, 2002) to patricia cronin’s marble sculpture that furthered art, advocacy, and lesbian breakdowns everywhere
