Just finished crying

Crying again

my friend’s four-year-old son wouldn’t go to sleep because he wanted to keep looking at the stars and she tried to bribe him with a piece of chocolate and he just said “would you rather get a reward or be happy” and turned back to the window

math isn’t particularly hard it’s just taught terribly for the most part

and it’s a shame because a lot of the thought processes behind it can be useful in every day life, but we’ve gotten so obsessed with this excuse of hyper specificity, that well, you just get through it, instead of learning it, even though you’re paying for it most of the time

honestly it would be nice if 2018 was just… a good year
