Hey, who else out there is STILL pissed that they killed Darwin in X-Men First Class
I think one of my former lovers and I accidentally swapped personalities. When we were together, he was really into fashion and I was a theatre tech. Now in 2023, I saw him as part of an outside AV crew loading in for one of the venues I do lighting design, and my work just got featured on The Shaderoom Fashion. How weird is that?
“An elegant woman is a woman who doesn’t acknowledge you and always smells divine.”
— Salvador Dalí, ‘The Secret Life of Salvador Dali’ (via lovely–delight)
less “if you see a man and woman together at pride be nice! they could be bi/pan/trans/ace/aro” and more “stop gendering strangers to harass them anywhere, but especially at pride holy shit”
you know what? i want this to reach the people who do this– especially the ones claiming to support trans folk (usually in really hollow ways lol i’m not bitter). keep reblogging– i want this sentiment to be widespread and for people to stop gendering strangers! especially in explicitly LGBTQ+ spaces!
ppl trying to frame art as something thats been historically a "privilege" restricted to the upper classes pisses me off saur much..... when you have no idea what youre fucking talking about ❤️
the way ppl like to envision working/lower class people (or even just... ppl living outside those dynamics) throughout history as like.... eternally miserable illiterate idiots that only know eating gruel and dying of the plague is fucking infuriating. people sang songs, told stories, wove fabrics, embroidered, knitted, decorated their homes, their places of worship, their tools, their food, their clothes, their hair, their bodies, for thousands upon thousands upon thousands of years. everyone, throughout all of human existence, loved art. created art.
some of you unironically talk like 18th century colonialists but with the labels scratched off.
like. you may be stupid
