That’s how that scene happened, right.
based on this text post:
a super late day 9 of what at this point is more plaidvember than plaidtober whoops for @narraboths sorry it's a month late
so does this mean you're going to draw a plaid kara for plaid lena cos that's how i'm interpreting this..
thinking about the time i was struggling to open my water bottle in class, and a girl that i had spoken to maybe 3 times came up to me and went
"let me help you baby"
and then proceeded to struggle to open the bottle
i wouldve fallen in love right then & there ngl
Thinking about Kara having to be supergirl full time for a week because things are so crazy in the world and her having to steal moments alone to wear her glasses in silence because the world is just too loud and painful when she’s exposed to it for that long. Picturing her hiding away still in uniform with glasses on and her hands over her ears
“Come on Kara, you’re making us late.”
“You’re saying that as if there’s anywhere else in the world I’d rather be right now.”
“Sap.”
“Yes.”
Okay can’t stop thinking about this (sorry not sorry - it is all your fault). But the fact that Kara and Lena both have these big stressful powerful jobs, they would need time to not make decisions, be told what to do, not have to think or plan and just rest and experience pleasure for a moment. Also Lena totally gives off top energy but a lot of powerful folks are total bottoms/subs. What i’m saying is, i’m team switchcorp!
Yes totally, I can definitely get on board with that! :) I think they both give off some top/bottom energy depending on the season and which of Kara's alter egos is involved (Kara Danvers v Supergirl) but I've seen some compelling arguments both ways! KD definitely seems like the kinda gal who would let Lena do whatever she wanted to her, Supergirl feels like she would be a little more toppy.
I'm very down with the idea of things changing based on time and season (s4-5 lena def gives me top vibes, s2-3 not so much). I'm also a sucker for some college/early 20s rojascorp (yes, I know Lena is supposed to be early 20s but lbr...) so I've seen some really good interpretations on character dynamics from that angle as well!
BUT (and I think I mentioned this last week), I checked through my top 5-10 fics and honestly I think there was a really good mix of interpretations, so I think it's really all in good fun :)
what happens in 6x08 before lena left for newfoundland
Greeting her trophy wife
(they’re both the trophy wife)
Thinking about Kara pouring Lena a glass of champagne and waiting for her to arrive and then stopping her conversation with someone as soon as she saw Lena. That was SO gay.
hear me out, what if kara grew up on the kent farm though
