Hrod’s awake, time for sad Mosugoji. Godzilla won’t admit, even if Mothra can tell, that her incredibly short incarnation that ended with her death at Boston was not good for him. Each of her deaths makes Goji worry a bit more that she might not come back once, but the one in Boston made him nearly believe it was happening for real. (I’m sorry for this, but this is what I had for today.)
Every time she's reborn, Goji rushes for Mothra and showers her with affection partly out of genuine happiness to see her come back and partly out of a bone-deep relief that it's really her. Mothra knows how he feels but never has the heart to interrupt the moment, simply reassuring him that she's here now; and later, when he's a little more emotionally centered, she'll promise him that she'll always come back.
He doesn't really believe her, and she can't blame him, because how can she be so certain of that? Mothra just nuzzles under his chin and replies that "If it takes me longer than usual next time, you can tell whatever's keeping me to let me come home or else you'll find a way to the other side... and then they'll be sorry."
That gets a chuckle out of him.
