Not a stupid question at all! After doing these comics for two years I can understand how the way I portray relationships between certain characters might get confusing. So I decided to make this handy dandy chart to show the current relationship status between the characters that pop up the most throughout my comics! Here’s what the arrows mean!:
Red: Not on good terms. Don’t put these people in a room together
Orange: Unsure or skeptical
Yellow: Finds them interesting
Green: No particular feelings
Blue: Friends
Purple: Scared or intimidated by
Pink: indicates love, whether it be romantic or familial
(Squiggly arrows are tentative feelings)
Some relationships are ones that I don’t portray often, or things that I haven’t really made a comic for to explain (like Hanzo crashing at Symmetra’s place) though they all influence the way I make them react to one another in my comics. And obviously I couldn’t do all 29 characters because…well…I didn’t want to. It would have taken forever. I do hope this clears up any confusion you might have had on how I portray these people. Thank you for the ask!
