man is a giddy thing, and this is my conclusion

When people graffiti on buildings: Yes! Ha ha! Fuck yes!

When people graffiti on rockfaces and cliffsides on hiking trails: What the absolute fuck.

It's not punk to poison the soil, dude.

sound of metal is really a movie about bittersweet partings. from the life he had as a metal drummer, from lou, from joe and the community he learned how to be deaf with, the friend he designed a tattoo for who helped him sell his equipment, the teacher who showed him to to sign his name, the child who showed him there was still a way to love music. all of these things saved his life! they made it beautiful! and they’re no longer a part of his life but that doesn’t make them less vital… it’s okay. there always serenity and possibility ahead.

“Did you see the way that little girl looked at me? Kids. Little kids. They grow up believing that they can be a hero if they drive a sword into the heart of anything different. And I’m the monster? I don’t know what’s scarier. The fact that everyone in this kingdom wants to run a sword through my heart or that sometimes I just wanna let ‘em.” “We have to get you out of here. Over the wall. We won’t stop until we find some place safe, okay? We’ll go. Together. No matter what we do, we can’t change the way people see us.” You changed the way you see me... Didn’t you?
