I hate when people over use mental illnesses.
What ocd is: not being able to control your impulses.
What its not: liking things neat. Although it can be, but dont diagnose yourself juat becasue of this.
What anxiety is: Literally being so freaked out in your head that you can not accomplish simple tasks.
What its not: A cute/romantic trait quiet people have. Its not fun its a nightmare.
What depression is: A feeling of loss that can overcome you at anytime, even in happy days.
What it is not: Sadness. This sounds counterintuitive , but everyone gets sad and this does not make you have depression. It's also not a trait that can be magically fixed by another person.
So please, do not use these words lightly because you might hurt someone whos fighting every day with it.

I had a strange thought that I could love you enough to fix you, that I could pull you back under the covers when you woke at 3 A.M. wanting to clean your room, or lock my fingers between yours to keep your from crawling out of your own skin. I thought I could hold your eyelids open to keep away what you saw when you closed them. If I could shrink myself into something you downed with your morning coffee, I would. But I am not your Prozac. I am the shoulder for your head when it’s too loud, too heavy and I am the words to the song you’ll never forget how to sing. I don’t love you to fix you. I love you because it’s as easy as breathing and to be fucking honest, the rightest thing I’ve ever done. If you need me to fight away your demons and grasp your hand until my knuckles are white I will, as long as you’ll have me.
