The most spiritual things you can do :

  • Declutter stuff and organise your home. Decorate it and give it a theme that matches your vibe. You can create dyi items . Simple and sweet.
  • Speak positive affirmations when you cook something for yourself and others. I always speak about people getting healed or good sleep. It works to the extent of switching their mood to a happy one. But make sure you mean it from heart and has it in your mind.
  • While taking the bath imagine washing your anxiety and stress.
  • Journaling about the things that makes you the happiest and excited. Writing down your favourite memories. Moments you found cute about yourself.
  • A simple walk in the park or a hug to a tree
  • Speaking your mind not holding yourself back.
  • Reading higher vibrational books -> based on emotional intelligence or self help books
  • Write down your dream the one you dropped thinking that it's impossible. And pick it up again not because you want to be succeeded in it. Because you FUCKING WANT TO DO IT.
  • Tell your ex to fuck off.
  • Manifest while masturbating it's best trust me.
  • Talk to animals. Talk to plants.
  • Think of the day and right down one beautiful thing about it and one bad. This might seem boring but your whole life sums up from the small days that passes in a blur until we are old and cherishing them.
  • Kiss Your mom on the cheek, spend time with your old ones and just spend time with your loved ones.
  • Tell someone that they look beautiful rather than holding it back. Conversation are awkward when we overthink and can't act properly. They are always lovely if done by heart.
  • Go on a date and order the specific food that you always avoid, because you create a mess out of yourself while eating .
  • Dress up the way you want, you want to wear nothing at all fine or you want to be modest enough to wear traditional ones go on. But just be you.
  • That one memory which torments you write on a paper burn it, scream remind yourself that it doesn't matter. The people who do wrong to us can never define us.

Comment your fav out of all !

Anyone have that image of like 8 ways of settler colonial justifications ? One of them is terra nullius, can't find it.

This one?

Image provided is a list titled 'Eight Stages of White Settler-Colonial Denial,' which lists the following stages:

1. "They didn't exist" (terra nullius) Complete denial of Indigenous presence in a given area (country, province, etc). Includes denial of Indigeneity, e.g. "Indigenous Peoples are Settlers too".

2. "If they did, the weren't here" (terra nullius) Denial that Indigenous People inhabit/travel/harvest/exist in a specific area. Often based on euro-centric definitions of evidence of occupation.

3. "If they were, they didn't use the land" (doctrine of discovery) Denial that Indigenous People have a connection with the Land. Often based on euro-centric worldviews of the land as something to be owned and extracted.

4. "If they did, they didn't deserve it" (great chain of being) Denial that Indigenous People have rights to their Lands. Often based on euro-centric value judgements of "primitive vs. civilized", "nomadic vs. sedentary".

5. "If they did, they lost it" (right of conquest) Denial that Indigenous People retain their rights to their Lands. Often based on colonially imposed European systems of law / "might makes right" worldviews.

6. "If they didn't, it doesn't matter any more" (Westphalian sovereignty) Denial that Indigenous Rights are still binding and take precedence. Often based on false claims of supremacy of colonial legal institutions and systems.

7. "If it does, we need to move on" (liberalism) Denial that violations of Indigenous Rights require redress. Often based on on claims redress is "disruptive/unfair/reverse racism" & false calls for "equality".

8. "If we can't, we are you" (self-indigenization) Denial of separateness of Indigenous Peoples and Rights. Often based on attempts to reduce Indigenous Rights to Human Rights, claim Indigeneity, etc.

Juggling 2 jobs so far has been interesting (2nd/3rd-ish week) but I’m also looking forward to working at places I don’t mind being at as well. I love the business and the distraction as well and it’s honestly done wonders for me emotionally but only because I haven’t had time to think which is good for the moment. But I know I have to take care of myself more than ever now and make time for myself.
