I'm just here for fandoms. I ship Sterek, Tomarry, Destiel, Wincest, Drarry, Snarry, Hannigram, Merthur, and sebaciel. Basically if it's hella gay I ship it

We still have a bunch of episodes left so the show may very well go down that route, but so far I am kind of disappointed in what they are trying to do with Kat's relationship with Ethan... In the first few episodes I was really excited to see how they were going to show how Kat basing her entire self worth around men wanting her while simultaneously having grown up on unrealistic romance tropes and hardcore smut has severely skewed her perception of what a relationship should be like, and how it's not Ethan she has a problem with but the pressure she puts on the relationship by wanting so much out of it, but with the talk she had with Maddy in Episode 4... I feel like that's not what we will get? And generally the show seems to just want everybody to be on a downward spiral so I assume Kat will not learn to communicate with Ethan and maybe talk to a professional (all of her character growth in Season 1 out the window <3) and it's a huge bummer. Most of the girls in Euphoria have very unhealthy ideas of what a relationship should be and feel like (Maddy's speech to Kat is so great but I think it's noteworthy that it is MADDY who gives it – who is also just now reconsidering what a relationship should be like) and it would be nice to have at least one of them work through that.

the problem with this season of euphoria is that they're focusing on storylines that the audience doesn't care about. cal was always meant to be a secondary character and now's he's got more screentime than most of the main characters combined. nate is everyone's least favorite character and no one liked the nate x maddy toxic relationship to begin with and now we have to suffer through nate x maddy 2.0 with him and cassie as a main storyline (with cassie's character taking the brunt of this arc). we as an audience don't care about any of this!!!! give us more babysitter maddy finding her independence, lexi and fezco navigating a complex relationship, kat coming to terms with why she's not satisfied with her healthy relationship, cassie discovering her self-worth and standing up for herself, rue and jules figuring out their own shit seperate from each other. it's just disappointing watching the care and quality put into the first season and the two holiday specials just to see where the second season has ended up

the thought of lexi watching everyone fall apart in front of her and wondering if it would be too problematic to put in her play is so funny to me

I can't get over how reveling this scene is.

I mean, it's obviously funny. But also Fez with his questions and comments shows the whole absurdity of the situation: Cal has absolutely lost control of his secret life, he knows nothing about his own son, he does really stupid things like with filming (boy, you committed a crime, why did you film it?), and he still plays this tough guy. Fez makes Cal look ridiculous.

And Fez. He somehow manages to partly dissect father-son relations and to show very clearly what is right and what is wrong.

You know the worst part of lasts nights episode is there wasn't even a crumb of Lexi and fez to make up for the rest of that rollercoaster

i feel gross for feeling bad for cal on two separate occasions but that’s why i like shows like this lmfao

i couldn’t help but feel a tad bad when ash kept hitting him w the gun and he was so disoriented and confused but also that scene was funny asf

“i’m extremely confused”

“you confused. i’m fucking confused.”

“..me too..”

shit was SO FUNNY

also the fact that he answered faye when she asked what his name was was weirdly funny to me also

“i’m cal”

“do u and ur son like … fuck people … together?”
