Ever since Remix watched the NT Warrior anime, he believed they were a 100% true retelling of Lan and Mega's childhood adventures(and since Mega refuses to tell him most of the stories from his childhood, he didn't have a reason not to believe it.) This becomes a problem when he keeps suggesting they do things like the shows and thinks events happened in the past like the show.
Remix: Can I see you and Uncle Lan do crossfusion?
Mega: Uhh, Remix, that didn't happen... They made all of that up
Remix: Huh? Then how did you guys beat the darkloids?
Mega: Dimensional areas aren't a thing, son. We just fought them on the Net like normal
Remix: Oh... Really? Was Duo fake too?
Mega: No, he was real
Remix: So how did you beat him?
Mega: Just like normal with your Uncle operating me. And then with the thoughts and feelings of your mom, aunt, and all my other friends I was able to stop the meteor from hitting earth

It's really funny how Tumblr keeps gaining new members just because other websites mess up so colossally,, that Tumblr somehow manages to look better in comparison. Really embodies the idea of failing upwards.

The NT Warrior anime isn't a separate continuity, but a "IRL" show in the gameverse that airs when Lan and his friends are adults. Lan thinks some of the events the show tells are ridiculous, but his kids like it so he's fine with it. Mega has mixed feelings about his show counterpart. I mean it gets why they didn't state that "he" was Lan's brother, but still.
