The founding of Hyrule as a kingdom is set somewhere between Sky time as a hero and Four's (Minish Cap). Sky talking about the Zoni? Skyloftians and Zoni did they get along? Why did the Zoni stay in the sky when what would soon be known as the Hylians and other races decend to the surface? Things like that...
Also a Ganondolf the first timeline wise at least version of him the one whose connected and bound so deeply by Demise's curse that even even Wild's time he can produce malace so toxic and corrosive it destoryed the Master Sword... the Ganondolf that is the closest we've seen to Demise.

Share to raise awareness but also to make the clowns who think this behaviour is acceptable think twice before acting brave behind the guise of invisibility.
Hello My Old Heart
Hello everyone!! I give you, as promised, Hello My Old Heart, the winner of the poll. This is based off that one ask Calcium_Cat got about what if OSD!Dream and OSDiff!Dream met. I was immediatly taken in my angst of it all and knew I had to write about it.
Now, it might not be entirely in character, as I did nothing more than skim the original sources to double check things, but I think it turned out well regardless. I did take some inspiration for Coraline and Alice Through the Looking Glass, which you will see. But that’s just more so as an explain for why these two are meeting in the first place.
I don’t really have much to say, really! So I guess this is it! Happy reading!!

Dream was playing hide and seek with Crossy and Kiki when he found the mirror.
He admits to breaking the rule of hiding in the dungeons. But he really wanted to up the playing field. Crossy and Kiki always seemed to find the most wild places to hide and he wanted to be the one with the best hiding place for once. They already knew every spot on the main floor, though, and upstairs were their bedrooms and it was boring to hide in bedrooms. There were only so many places there.
So, while there was a rule they followed about not hiding in the dungeons, it wasn’t really enforced too much. And they wouldn’t think to check there until they’ve run out of places to check. It’ll be fun. He’s sure of it. They’ll enjoy the challenge.
And it’s not like they wouldn’t find him. They always found him. It’ll just take longer than it has before, that’s all. It’ll be fine.
Of course, this was all before he found the mirror.
In the dungeons, there was a row of cells. They never got used much. Past them, there were a few rooms they used as storage. It was out of the way. Nobody really went down there unless they really needed something. It was perfect. Dream slips inside and has to pause for a minute as he disrupted the dust and choked on it. Once his breathing was back to normal, he looks around.
Nothing too exciting. Boxes and shelves and cobwebs in the corner. And dust.
And the mirror in front of him.

Oooo Fic writers some angst for you to thrive on
I'm a "multiple interpretations of a character are valid" person until I see an interpretation that explicitly contradicts canon and then I start chewing on the drywall.
Me: "they are fictional characters and you can have whatever thoughts or interpretations you like! You may be close to the creators intent, you may not! What does it matter! There is joy in the exploration alone"
Also me: blorbo would not fucking say that
“This character is multi-faceted and has many valid interpretations of them, but there are also aspects of them that are so set in stone that if you take them away, you’re basically talking about a totally different character.”
Basic rules for analysing fiction, an incomprehensive list jotted down in a hurry:
- The protagonist isn’t always right
- The protagonist isn’t always good
- The protagonist isn’t always written to be relatable or likeable
- The narrator isn’t always right
- The narrator isn’t always good
- The narrator isn’t always telling the truth
- The narrator isn’t always the author
- The protagonist’s moral compass, the narrator’s moral compass and the author’s moral compass are three entirely different things that only occasionally overlap
- Pay attention to what characters do and not just what they say
- Pay special attention when what the characters do is at odds with what they say
- A lot of the time the curtains are blue for a reason. If they aren’t, you should read better books
