What’s the story with yuncifang? Give us all the tea!!!

I'm not sure how much tea there is, but can tell you about yuncifang, well, as it is or seems to be.

for starters, Yuncifang （云次方）is one of weibo's most famous CPs and consists of two musical actors, Ayunga and Zheng Yunlong. The name of the CP comes from both their names having a character 云/yun in it, which also means "a cloud". YCF basically means Cloud squared. They also sometimes dub themselves/are called 双云/shuang yun, which means Double Cloud.

Ayunga - 阿云嘎 - is a musical actor of Mongolian ethnicity, born and raised in Ordos. His name in Mongolian - Ayanga - means lightning. He also has a nickname 嘎子/Ga-Zi, which is something you'd call someone mischievous or naughty (lol), which is funny, because during his uni years in Beijing Dance Academy, he was the class monitor, and basically the responsible and serious one.

Zheng Yunlong - 郑云龙 - is a musical actor, born and raised in Qingdao. Long in his name is the character for dragon, and his nickname 大龙/Da-Long means big dragon. Before SRRX he was basically crowned the Prince of Chinese Musicals, but he himself said he doesn't quite like the term.

They both attended Beijing Dance Academy and were classmates, which I think is one of the reasons the CP is so enticing to fans, them having all that history together. As their graduation project they performed Rent, where in the fourth year they played lovers. Zheng Yunlong played Collins, and Ayunga played Angel.

Ayunga is Beijing-based, Zheng Yunlong is Shanghai-based, but they maintain that they're close friends and, for instance, Ayunga has seen all of Zheng Yunlong's musicals he could attend. Zheng Yunlong has seen his, some, like "My bucket list" （我的遗愿清单）several times :) They are both incredible singers, often perform together, and have several songs together.

SRRX basically propelled them to well-deserved recognition and fame, both of them have made the Forbes' 30 influentual people under 30 in 2019.

When asked about their view on CP, Ayunga basically said that their friendship is so profound, that nothing can rattle it, and if the fans like to imagine "something beautiful", then they don't mind.

Also, Ayunga has joked on weibo about getting marriage certificates with Zheng Yunlong, often uses "my Dalong" when referring to him, and calls him cute. You know. As friends do.

During SRRX Ayunga clowned Zheng Yunlong's wardrobe, because Zheng Yunlong is the type to wear the same pair of jeans for ten years and isn't at all interested in spending money on expensive clothes. So, he borrows Ayunga's clothes for photoshoots and events. You know. As friends do.
