On this day, Neil banged out the tunes. And for but a moment in time, a passing glimpse of eternity, all was well. Another day passes -- all the same -- but it would be remembered. Again, we rejoice, sharing together in joy and in love as we once again repeat the cycle of celebration.

today, i put a roly-poly under my drain plug after moving him to the floor, bc i wanted to take a shower and deal with it later. when i came back to free him from his deemed "bug jail," i noticed he was gone. just straight up disappeared, and all i could say was, "oh, he's an escaped convict!"
it is also worth noting that i have almost completely lost my voice due to a rather nasty cold, and so my little exclamation of surprise sounded more akin to dying squeaks and squawks rather than any actual words.
