[…] twelve hours. And it was like that — do you know that M. Night Shyamalama-ding-dong movie, Signs? You know how it’s like — you know how they’re like, “Why is this weird little blonde girl leaving water glasses all over the house?” And then they’re like, “It’s to kill aliens! There’s a baseball bat by the nightstand because I have to kill aliens with a water glass.” So that’s what this was like. Um — no, but it was. It was. Let me tell you why.

It was this thing where it was — continued to be a very, very difficult choice and then everybody — all the girls were in the Werk Room and they were all like, um, “We don’t think that we should have to go home. We’re the top 5. This doesn’t make any sense.” And I was like, “I think I’m less passionate about it than any of the rest of you. Like, I’m — Like, you guys all seem really pressed in a way that I don’t feel.” All right. So that’s one piece.

Here’s another piece. Morgan McMichaels was always the decision that I was kind of like, “Is this the right decision? I don’t know.” It feels weird, you know? But, like, it’s a decision I made and we moved forward and then whatever and then she and I got to talk. I was like, “Oh, there’s something else going on here. Maybe, like — maybe we —” [whispering] There’s something crazy happening over there — Uh, you know, like — like, there’s — there’s a — this is another piece, you know? Morgan — Morgan feels like she just didn’t get the opportunity to shine because I had the impression that she was not willing to be here in the same way that the rest of us were here to be? [Unintelligible]? But then, in speaking to her, I was like, “No, this is just another queen just trying to figure out how to be here, how to make decisions, how to do things. That’s what we’re all doing.”

And then, Trixie and I had had this joke ongoing on stage where we were — or, on set where we were like, “One of these weeks, we should just write RuPaul’s name in Wite-Out on the lipstick.” So it was a joke. It was a joke. It was this constant joke, right? And then, all the girls came back and I was like, “Wait a second… Morgan should come back and if Morgan comes back then [unintelligible], now that makes perfect sense. That’s like this balance thing and then I could go home. And then — but how am I going to do that? Oh, there was this joke about Wite-Out, but there’s no Wite-Out on set.” And then I remembered. Thorgy Thor, on Episode 2, painted her fingernails with white out. So I went to Thorgy while we were doing all that deliberation and I said, “Thorny, do you still have that white out in your bag?” She said, “Yeah, what do you need it for?” I said, “Don’t worry about it.”
