How did the team react when they first got their superpowers?

Oh, this is fun! Well, you already know about yourself and Lat, obviously, so let's see...

Seeker didn't really have a reaction, since he's had his powers since he was more or less a toddler. His first memory is, ironically, of using his powers. He doesn't remember a life before them.

Forlorn doesn't exactly remember a time before his powers either, not perfectly, since super strength has always been there. His laser vision came a bit later though, and he was a bit disappointed about it, but his parents got him out of that funk real quick. They were super proud of him, and he was everything they ever wanted in a kid. He was perfect just as he was.

Aki was a bit similar, super strength was always part of the deal, but when her frost breath came about, her family reacted in a much more excited and celebratory way. Her dad straight up took something like a week off work to make her feel super special.

Nova didn't believe he had powers at first. He was good at building things, but he never really considered there might be powers behind that. It wasn't until he saw himself reading nuclear physics and designing AIs out of a potato computer that he started to think there was more to it than him just having a good brain. When that happened, he brought it up to his parents, and then... Well. You'll see.

Mars had a bad time when his powers first came about. He was somewhat scared when they first manifested, though that eventually gave way to excitement. Still, things weren't very good for a while. More on that later!

Ignis' powers came at the most mundane of times. She was something like 7-8, and doing something that everyone's parents tells them not to do.

Eating cookies and drinking milk on her bed while watching cartoons.

Eventually, obviously, her glass of milk was about to spill, and she was too far, and when she reached out her hand... In came a small golden bucket to hold the liquids, scaring the hell out of her. The milk spilled regardless since she couldn't maintain objects very well yet, but the scream brought her parents to the room, who noticed their child was a lot more special than they expected.

... At first, Ignis was really happy. Lots of attention, lots of talking, lots of her parents being sickeningly sweet.

And then the chats turned into how to spin this for good PR and if they could somehow monetize or sell the image of the 'Coltello Heir' being powered, with the talks of hiring some trainer to show her how to best utilize her powers so she never caused them any embarrassment.

That's about when she stopped being happy about it. Took her a while, and some therapy, to realize that's when things stopped sounding so good, though. But the horrors of being raised by the Coltellos shall be explored in detail later, so just hold tight!
