I try not to post politics on this blog anymore but this is beyond politics not being racist shouldn't even be that hard. This has been a problem poc have had to deal with for too long. It shouldn't take so many poc dying for us to realize this and it is horrfying to see white people with guns get away with rioting to not wear masks during a pandemic and poc rioting with no weapons and getting dosed with tear gas and worried they might die.

I don't know what it's like to be constantly harassed for the color of my skin but I know that no one should have to go through that at all.

I watched Jane Elliott in psychology class in college and think she's amazing if you want another example she taught white kids what it felt like to be treated different just because they had blue eyes or brown eyes. She started this experiment the day after Martin Luther king jr was assassinated. Oh I really do enjoy how the 2020s are shaping up to be a lot like the 1920s. You get a generation of lost kids that grew up during a war. They reject their parents conservative attitudes. The youth has created a resurgence of Dadaism and Nihilism that the older generations don’t understand. An artistic boom replacing the materialistic tendencies of our parents. The queer community is thriving in a way that it hasent been in years. Activism and socialist ideologies are on the rise again. How wonderful.
