If your anxiety, depression, or executive dysfunction is making you scroll endlessly on your phone or laptop
It’s okay, I’m not mad. It happens to everybody sometimes. It’s frustrating, isn’t it? But it’s time to get up now.
Don’t worry! You don’t have to do that
just get yourself a glass of water for now, or brush your teeth, or pet a cat.
After you’ve done that, maybe you could make yourself a nice cocoa, or open a window. If you’re feeling really crazy you might finish a homework problem, or respond to an e-mail, or wash a dish.
But no matter what, if you get up then you’re moving forward, and I’m
I know you’re having a difficult time, but I’m really glad you’ve made it this far, and I love you!
@ every single person who reblogged this post by telling me that did something productive, from wiggling their toes to taking a drink to actually doing homework: I’m so so proud. Keep being strong, friends.
And if you reblogged even though it didn’t work last time, here’s hoping it will this time! I’m proud of you, too.
I made this vocab list because I always get stuck when people ask me to describe what I study as a physics student in Japanese. Even if you’re not a physics student, a lot of these words are useful as advanced vocab anyway, so I hope this post helps you!
I also included a list of Japanese physics Nobel laureates because Japan is an important country in physics research and I thought it might be interesting to learn about some contributions Japanese people have made to the field.

Hey op, i noticed that proton neutron electron, positron, ect, all end with that one character. Does it have a meaning or is it just part of the words ?
It does! 子 means child, and if you were to translate the names of the particles by character meaning, electron would be ‘electricity child,’ proton would be ‘positive child,’ atom would be ‘original child,’ and so on.
while 子 does generally mean child, as a suffix it has a few other meanings. in these cases it would be ‘small thing’ or even straight-up just ‘particle’
There are also many older words in Japanese that will end in a meaningless 子 (椅子 帽子 etc) because Mandarin added it as a suffix to many nouns in order to avoid issues with homophones.
of course if thinking of them as ‘child’ helps you, by all means continue, but you’ll end up with a lot of weird sounding concepts 😅
im still pissed off about シ and ツ
I don’t シ whaツ bad about this?
im going to stab you in the face

this should be the most reblogged post on tumblr before it dies
We need to reblog this so much that the post breaks
Do not like
Keep. Reblogging.
i woke up and saw this and reblogged just for thin now any who back to sleep
So, anyone wanna move to discord and twitter with me?
….we should have realized this when it was presented to us
