You know how Omega runs into Echo’s arms the first time they see him after he’d gone with Rex? And yes he had ample time to see her running at him but he had no reason to expect she’d literally fly into his arms yet he looked not only not surprised but was completely ready for it. You can’t tell me that’s the first time she’s done that to them

So now imagine Omega had to stay back on a mission or it was a mission for just 2 Batchers, and she gets the comm they’re coming home. Cut to Omega tearing through Ord Mantell to the dock and whoever’s off the ramp first better be braced because she’s going to be in their arms in .5 seconds

Wrecker loves it the most (huge belly laughs when he gets to catch her), Echo second because he’s so touch starved the poor thing, Hunter third only being beaten by Echo by a sliver, and Tech fourth but only because in the .5 second he panics between Omega and datapad. Omega always wins, but he did eventually figure out a way to hold onto both

You didn’t think I’d leave my baby out did you?!? When Crosshair’s back, Omega always goes to him as a way to show how overjoyed she is that he’s back with them, and oh yes he may grumble each and every time as soon as he spots her running, but he’s already unloading his pack from his back and bending down to her level and he may still be grumbling and scowling but he’s squeezing her as tight as he can to him

Finally decided to upload this unfinished Steven Universe AU comic I sketched out in 2020 that went along with the animatic I made.

The premise was that the Diamonds found out about Steven’s existence earlier than canon and stole him away as a small child. The Diamonds retrieve Spinel for Steven to have a playmate, though she initially doesn’t believe Steven isn’t just Pink playing another cruel trick on her. It takes some sort of small but scary accident to prove to Spinel that this is a human (because gems don’t bleed), and she slowly warms up to him after that. (More notes if you’re interested under the cut.)

(I wasn't even aware I was following her, lol - I think I started following her in 2020 after seeing one art post and then completely forgot about it. I don't think i've even caught up on Glitchtale since 2019 anyways -)

But thank you for bringing this up! I actually did check out the situation after I got this ask, and I have been informed about it. I wouldn't call myself ignorant, but personally I much prefer to stay out of controversial/negative online situations... I do like to stay informed about things, however, so I am glad you mentioned this.

If anyone is curious, there are indeed a few videos on YouTube about the situation. I won't say anymore about it, because like I said, I try to steer away from negative situations, but to spread awareness about one like this I definitely will.

Thanks again, anon! I'll be unfollowing the account at my next opportunity.

Because as a ship...? Respectfully I would never like to think about that again. Heeeeeeeck no.

But like as a goofy platonic pairing for a crossover drawing? Sure!!! They've both got a very similar personality, mind that Spinel would probably be a little more serious XD

Then again I've never watched SpongeBob before, so I could be wrong lmao. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!!!

Holey CRAP this sounds exactly like me... every time someone asks me how long Partners In Crime is...

My most recent definitive answer is "33 chapters with an epilogue chapter at the end" but I only just remembered there's a side-plot I really really wanna add in for one chapter so I think its somewhere along the lines of "34 chapters with an epilogue that's about the same length as chapter 8 so maybe it should be considered a chapter as well?"

One empty cardboard box, three skewers, four plastic straws, two plastic rings, one cling wrap cardboard tube, three hours of paper mache and five hours of painting later, my Tech helmet is finally finished!!! (It's not flawless, but I made it entirely from reference pictures and measurements in my head XDD) (Also credit to my brother CJ in the last two pictures, he's wearing the Din Djarin helmet I made three years ago today!!! It's made of cardboard, a TON of duct tape, silver spray paint and... um. the visor is made of an old screen door, believe it or not.)
