I don’t think I got a presale code for TS’s The Eras Tour and I will probably cryyyyyy

It’s January 2022 and I’m a little sad this month ☺️

Do you ever panic out of nowhere because you remember you accidentally forgot about a table when you worked as a waitress at Pizza Hut when you were 17?

“It is so hard for us little human beings to accept this deal that we get. It’s really crazy, isn’t it? We get to live, then we have to die. What we put into every moment is all we have. You can drug yourself to death or you can smoke yourself to death or eat yourself to death, or you can do everything right and be healthy and then get hit by a car. Life is so great, such a neat thing, and yet all during it we have to face death, which can make you nuts and depressed. It’s such an act of optimism to get up every day and get through a day and enjoy it and laugh and do all that without thinking about death. What spirit human beings have! It is a pretty cheesy deal— all the pleasures of life, and then death. I think some people just can’t take the variables, they just can’t take the deal— that is why they drink themselves silly or hide away or become afraid of everything. Sometimes I feel like I couldn’t take the deal— it was just too much. Cancer brought life and death up close.”

I really really really miss my parents and I can’t wait for quarantine to be over because if I think about them for more than a minute I just start ugly crying and I can’t stop and things will just be easier when I go back home to visit for a little bit

Things I did NOT accomplish in the past decade.

º Quitting the biting of my nails.

Things I’ve accomplished this Decade

º Graduated from High School & received my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology º Saw Taylor Swift in Concert 4 times (Fearless, 1989, Reputation) º Saw the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon twice (May, 2015 & March 2017) º Met Jimmy Fallon twice- told him nothing useful that made sense bc he’s my favorite human being and each time I couldn’t speak human sentences. º Met Robert Smigel and told him how much I loved Triumph as a kid. º Met Elizabeth Warren and told her that when she wins I hope to get hired at SNL so I could write sketches with Kate impersonating her, and she said it’s a plan and high-fived me. º I met John Mulaney and told him that I really admired his writing. º Lost my virginity and found out that guys aren’t worth SHIT º Quit straightening my hair and embraced my curls! º Moved to Chicago and pursuing my comedy dreams º Started writing sketches, jokes, and personal essays that make me laugh º Made new friends but kept the old ones º Gotten my first tattoos! º Fell in love with being alone.
