Hot girls rant about a show that ended over a decade ago

I’m sorry but what was with all the millennial hate in ayitl? Does ASP not know her key demographic? Sure, some things certain millennials do are ‘embarrassing’ or easy to pick on, but the way the show completely made fun of the generation as a whole was stupid. So many Gilmore Girl viewers are millennials and making fun of them for absolutely no reason was annoying.

Am I supposed to watch 6.14 and not come to the conclusion that Rory is essentially dating her dad?

I mean... Amy literally said "We wanted Rory to date her father" (obviously she meant "someone LIKE her father") about Logan in an interview, and has reiterated that multiple times since then, so... I'd say you're reaching the exact conclusion the writers WANTED you to reach.

I have never understood how SO many fans love Logan yet also hate Christopher with a passion. There was literally a whole scene where the two met, got along, and realized how similar they are. At their core, they are both entitled, rich, trust fund kids who abuse their wealth and privilege and run away from responsibility.

jess mariano and rory gilmore are literally the SAME people at their core, just in opposite fonts. they MIRROR each other and are each other's TWIN FLAMES. that's exactly why they understand each other better than everyone else (asp herself said so). both are raised by teen moms and have deadbeat dads. yet, one is nurtured with love and care with a mom like lorelai. and the other is abandoned & ignored by a flaky mom like liz. both develop an immense love for reading regardless of whether it became kind of a coping mechanism. both exceed normal expectations of intelligence required for their age. hence, one goes above and beyond, strives for perfection with it, and craves validation while the other could not care less what people think and says "fuck it. rules don't matter anymore for me. i know stuff". one becomes stars hollow's princess, held onto a pedestal by everyone around her. the other becomes stars hollow's pariah, hated by every person he meets. both are under intense scrutiny by people where one is held to exceptionally high standards and the other is seen as "good for nothing". both of them break out of those respective moulds as soon as they become young adults. and both play a pivotal role in helping each other break out of those moulds and still be true to their inner selfs. I COULD WRITE AN ENTIRE TEN-PAGE ESSAY ON THE PARALLELS BETWEEN THEM....I REALLY COULD!

It was good what we did yesterday

And I'd do it once again

Pale Blue Eyes, The Velvet Underground + ☆my favourite Gilmore Girls episode ☆

Everyone always talks about the failed Jess in California spin-off but you know what spin-off I want to see? The adventures of Truncheon. I want to see Jess work at a publishing press being happy as he writes, gets to talk about and be surrounded by books, have friends, and not get his heart broken!!

Oh man. Now I'm imagining Rory, in the midst of her Freshman Year depression, going into the Beinecke Rare Book Library at Yale for the very first time, and having to continually repress the thought "I have to tell Jess about this!"

Because, if he hadn't left? He would have come to visit her on the weekends (22.8 miles, right?) and she would have taken him there and she would have showed him everything, knowing that he'd be just as excited about it as she was. But then he did leave, so now she can't.

Isn’t is so funny how Logan fans look at Jess and think, ‘hm. Jess is seventeen and his dad abandoned him completely and his mom, who was an addict and drank while she was pregnant, sent him to go live with an uncle he barely knew but like why wasn’t he a better boyfriend to Rory?’

Yet they’ll also be like, ‘Logan had a really sad childhood he had to have a fancy cake on his birthdays :( so it’s okay if he cheats on Rory.’

What if Lane Kim inherited the antique shop from her mother and turned it into a music store/school where she taught lessons and inspired the next generation of music listeners much like how Luke turned his father’s old hardware store into a diner?

Jess’s ‘bad boy’ label to me is so, so funny. He is constantly reading, works two jobs, saved enough money to buy a car—but he’s the ultimate bad boy in the town’s eyes. Let’s be clear, the most ‘rebellious’ thing he did was the chalk outline outside Doose’s. Boy did magic tricks for his crush, why is he labeled a bad boy? 😭
