Art Masterlist

[Last updated: 24 February 2024]

Hey, there! I'm Jessi :)

This is my Art Masterlist with links to my art, with posts that you may or may not have seen, such as my Infinity War Rewrite Comic, Morticia Addams as a mermaid, as well as other various fanart and personal art pieces. Also, I used to participate in Drawlloween a lot, so you're bound to find plenty spooky art as well. Oh, there's also this comic, that apparently resonated with way too many people.

My personal art tends to have a more surreal/magical quality to it, as it's usually a way for me to illustrate my thoughts or feelings.

Currently accepting: Requests for These! Commissions: Open on Ko-Fi

Upcoming Projects: 'Hey Alice' animation, Yondu comic

You can find me other places here. Prints | Patreon | Ko-Fi You can also check out my FAQ.

List got long so everything is under the cut until I can decide how I want to make it neater lol

At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.

If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.

Inspired by this post:

So this was the 2 year old abandoned comic I mentioned yesterday having thought it would have been a fitting piece to have posted on April Fools Day, if only I had ever finished it.

Well, I wasn't able to finish it before April Fools ended, (probably because I hadn't remembered it until almost 3am the day of and it had just been a skeleton of a comic...) but we're pretty much fools year-round on this hellsite, and it's done now, so here it is. Hope you like it!

I don’t get how in fantasy fiction, the women who actually enjoy sewing/embroidering are always painted as the weak, boring, and anti-feminist characters

Sewing and embroidery take skill, patience, and artistic talent and it was also the ultimate way to ignore the annoying men in your life in past centuries

If you didn’t feel like talking to a man, you just “took up your sewing” and he’d have to leave you alone, especially if he needed that shirt mended

Women also got together all the time to sew, weave, embroider but also talk, gossip, assist each other’s work, and enjoy each other’s company in peace

The skill the female character has doesn’t have to be sword-fighting for her to be strong, because there’s strength and power in any skill she has

Destroy the idea that a woman’s strength is derived from how much she subverts gender norms
