These are amazing. I have had them.
Sorry to everyone who’s enjoyed the last 130 years of science and culture journalism, but Disney needs the money to fund Toy Story 9
Other than encyclopedias and public libraries, the PBS channel and heck, even Sesame Street-national geographic growing up was how I learned about the world.
Feel like my childhood is gone and the world is getting dumber by the minute and all I can do is watch.
The Blackening was a shoutout to Black American culture, in its most casual as well as controversial forms. It wasn't about the horror plot and the humor relies heavily on if you been immersed in Black culture. So if you haven't been or unfortunately were socialized around nonblacks, I don't know how funny it will be. But as for me and my negro household, I thought it was amazingly funny and legitimately one of the Blackest pieces of work I have ever seen.
I know you meant nonblacks and my answer to the wonder is: Everybody love to be in our business.

June 27/28, 2023 - Angry rioters across France battled police, after cops executed 17-year old Naël M. during a traffic stop in Nanterre, shooting him in his car point blank as he tried to drive away, when the cops pulled a gun on him and told him they were going to kill him. The cops tried to say that he tried ramming them, but video showed this to be a complete lie. [video]/[video]/[video]

They are not as high-profile as the WGA, but I would like to bring everyone's attention to the imminent strike action by thousands of hotel workers in Los Angeles. They are set to go on strike tomorrow, July 1st, 2023.
More than 15,000 hotel workers are seeking higher pay, better benefits, and working conditions. This includes an across-the-board $5 an hour raise, as well as affordable healthcare and better pensions. They also are seeking a ban on the use of E-Verify, which is used to deny employment to undocumented workers and workers involved with the criminal justice system. You can follow what is happening at their Twitter.
