I'm thinking about the timeline of Spiderverse films because wait a damn minute.
At the beginning of ATSV Miles says he's been a Spiderman for the past year and four months. So the first film and second film are about a year apart.
But that would also mean that Miguels universe had collapsed just a few months back.
The scene we see in the first film with Miguel, he is obviously way more happier, he's (kinda) joking and his voice is way more full of life than in ATSV. In that scene we also see that Lyla had made a prototype of that watch they later use to go from universe to universe.
This was possibly even before he found the universe where his other self died so he could take his own place.
And we know for a fact that that universe collapsed after he started the Spidey society, because we see multiple Spider-people trying to save people from that universe, including Peter.
This would also explain why he's still looking at videos of his daughter. It's been just a few months, hell maybe even just weeks since that universe collapsed. His grieving is fresh and he still needs time to properly process it.
Makes me wonder if Gwen also saw how his universe collapsed, because she says to Miles it's been a few months since she joined. They maybe didn't bring her to help because she's a kid, but no one says that she couldn't be in the HQ when it happened.
Thinking of atsv again, specifically the dynamic between Peter B. and Miguel, and you gotta wonder how many times Peter B. has probably heard some sort of spiel from Miguel about Miles’s existence as Spiderman being an anomaly to the canon and probably didn’t really challenge it because he wanted to give his friend the benefit of the doubt.
Especially since it’s apparent Peter was there for Miguel when he suffered the loss of his alternate universe daughter, so I guess I can see why he comes from a place of understanding with Miguel’s actions and motivations, even when he doesn’t fully agree with them. But also Peter cites Miles as such an important figure in his life to the point he had Mayday so she can grow up to be like Miles. He fully embraces that Miles’s existence as Spiderman was essentially what made him a better person. It’s the sort of conflict of interest that’s not harped on in the movie, and I think that’s what makes his standing with and his betrayal of Miles a lot harder to sift through imo.

Of course Saturn brought its ring light.
On June 25, 2023, our James Webb Space Telescope made its first near-infrared observations of Saturn. The planet itself appears extremely dark at this infrared wavelength, since methane gas absorbs almost all the sunlight falling on the atmosphere. The icy rings, however, stay relatively bright, leading to Saturn’s unusual appearance in this image.
This new image of Saturn clearly shows details within the planet’s ring system, several of the planet’s moons (Dione, Enceladus, and Tethys), and even Saturn’s atmosphere in surprising and unexpected detail.
These observations from Webb are just a hint at what this observatory will add to Saturn’s story in the coming years as the science team delves deep into the data to prepare peer-reviewed results.
