Uh, yeah.
Guy Pearce didn't play the Mandarin. Trevor Slattery played the Mandarin. Sir Ben Kingsley played Trevor Slattery. I guess Guy Pearce could have played Sir Ben Kingsley, but then he'd have had two roles.
