(”Red Shoes And The Seven Dwarfs” spoilers below.)Yes! Snow White loved herself and had no desire to change. Her coming across the queen’s magical shoes was all an accident. So when she finally notices the magical transformation, she is not happy about it. She feels like she is wearing a mask, one that is not hers. However, she does notice that people look at her more now. People call her “the most beautiful woman in the land”. And most importantly: they want to help her with her quest (to find her missing father), something nobody has ever been willing to do for her. So in order to reap the benefits of looking like their world’s version of a super model, she keeps the magical shoes for now and takes on the alias Red Shoes. 

Throughout the movie Snow’s internal conflict has nothing to do with the desire to permanently change her physical appearance, but rather she feels betrayed by society’s warped views and obsession with beauty. Her father married an evil woman because she was “too beautiful to be wicked”, and her new friends, while they are willing to help her, dont seem to care about her as a person at all. All they see is a “beautiful princess", and their interest stops there. So there is no winning apparently; When she’s Snow White she’s an invisible wallflower, but as Red Shoes she’s nothing more than a sexy trophy.
