Princess Knight (1953) by Osamu Tezuka
"How to Draw Manga… the Osamu Tezuka Way!"
Classic Japanese anime/manga noses are probably not as iconic as the big round eyes Osamu Tezuka invented, but he certainly knew how to draw a schnoz or two as well…

I got to paint for Ricky's NYC with the sticker social club again! Other side of the van was painted by Abe Lincoln Jr. (dude called curbside before I could!) and the back was painted by Hiss. Can't wait to see this decked out van roll around the city...
Second page of my coming zine, 'This is What Makes Us Girls'.
I made this drawing while binge-blasting Jhene Aiko's Comfort Inn Ending (Freestyle) and lamenting for the trust and love that I gave them hoes that ended up abusing, using, and tormenting me throughout these years. I've always had shit luck when it came to that department, and there were many consequences. An alternative line I considered for this was, "you ain't shit/ you ain't special til I made you so", from The Worst. Maybe next zine?

Cover of my first zine 'This is What Makes Us Girls'.
I went through a phase recently where I felt that, despite having been lived as a female person for over 20 years, I actually had no real thoughts about 'girlhood' outside of what I saw and heard from pop culture. From reading POP☆TEEN to binge blasting Lana del Rey, what exactly had pop culture ended up teaching me about being a girl? If I don't live my life imitating other females, would I simply not know how to 'be' a girl? For these answers, I turned to the recent era's pop queens of heartbreak: Jhene Aiko, Iggy Azalea, Lana del Rey, and Fergie - and illustrated some of their advice on dealing with 2014 girl problems like $$$ digging, sidechicks, molly, and baby mamas. Included is also my one-shot(?) manga, Super Girl BANDIT!, where BANDIT, a magic girl with the power of aerosols, battles the Black Things that Happen at Night... with the help of her secret guardian VANDAL and his buddy/robot JETPACK in the dark alleyways of Bushwick, Brooklyn.

IT LOOKS LIKE A FUCKING HORROR MOVIE
Mila Von Luttich was Austrian painter and illustrator and lived from 1872-1929. She mostly Illustrated for Meggendorfer Blätter, a satirical magazine published out of Munich. Her work is very reminiscent of Koloman Moser and G.th Kempf. After her years with Meggendorfer, she went on to illustrate many children’s books and has for the most part slipped into obscurity.
