Why couldn't Bloom County have been right instead? They predicted President Springsteen.

6. Feds believe Russians hacked Florida elections-system vendor. (And remember they hacked the DNC emails). 

7. Trump has lowest approval ratings of any president-elect in recent history. LOWER than Hillary according to PEW results. The only time this happened in recent history was in 2000. Gore had higher grades.

8. There were irregularities in many key states. 

9. Unsurprisingly, in many places, HILLARY won in counties using paper votes but lost in those using electronic in key states. For example: North Carolina  and Wisconsin .

10. Russia confirms it has been in touch with Trump throughout the campaign. 

And there’s so much more. Like the fact that manipulating vote count in just a dozen areas in few key states would be enough.

When he was asked to be in Jimmy Kimmel’s “I’m Fucking Ben Affleck” video, in which he pulled up alongside them in a car and gave Jimmy a little wink and an air-kiss, when he showed up at the set he looked kind of put out. Kimmel was afraid he wasn’t down with what they were asking. But he just said, “I don’t know, this wardrobe…don’t you have anything mesh that I could wear?”

When he was filming “Witness” he rented a small farm from a friend of mine. At the end of the filming my friend went and checked out the property as usual. He noticed the barn door had been leveled so it no longer would swing open on it’s own. Went into the house and saw the closets had been redone, in the kitchen the cabinets had been replaced and all the drawers now opened really well. Turns out that there were thousands of dollars of work and materials put into fixing up everything at the place.

My friend called Ford and asked him how much he was asking for the work. Ford told him doing that kind of thing helped him relax and stay sane when he was filming. Would not take a dime. Plus he paid for a new water heater and got the sewage system cleaned out.

And he paid rent to live there the entire time.

As someone who has family in the industry, let me tell you this: Harrison Ford is a badass, sweet old man who makes movies because he loves to make people happy. He could retire for the rest of his life and live without a worry, but he likes to make people happy. His ego hasn’t gone to his head. He doesn’t give a shit that he’s Han Solo and Indiana Jones. He likes making people happy.

It’s Thanksgiving which means tables decorated with tiny porcelain figures of Native Americans sharing corn with pilgrims. It’s a holiday about being grateful, coming together, and being at peace but while we use caricatures of a great people, mainstream media ignores their cries for help. While we set tables with servings of food that are far too large, the original inhabitants of this great nation struggle to fight for clean drinking water and respect for their ancestors.

I’m not great at words but this issue is very dear to my heart so here’s some art.

Trump supporters when people call them out on their racism

This is an extremely accurate comment.

So here’s the deal

Current Situation: President-Elect rotted pumpkin Trump has been pretty busy the last week. He’s been trying to appoint multiple racists, sexists, and xenophobes to Cabinet positions. He settled out of court in his Trump University case. He’s using his businesses to gain monetarily from his position. He’s refusing to put his businesses in a blind trust which will cause a conflict of interest.

And that’s not even everything.

And that’s just in the last week. It’s about to get a whole lot worse.

Current Plan of Action: There’s this great link to a Google Doc going around (and, if you haven’t seen it yet, here it is) that has scripts to follow and phone numbers to call about all the current issues. It’s absolutely fantastic and I encourage everyone to set it as their homepage because it’s extremely useful and very effective.

Current Problem: It’s literally too effective (if there is such a thing which honestly I don’t believe). All of the voicemail boxes of these assholes are full and I guarantee you they have no desire to empty them to allow the floodgates to open again. Because so many of us are calling to air their grievances, we’ve literally flooded them to a stopping point.

The Solution: They can’t stop letters.

Write to them. I want their offices to look like the end of Miracle on 34th Street. It doesn’t even have to be a particularly well worded letter. Here’s all you need to say:

I’m writing to you today because I am in strong opposition to the appointments of Steve Bannon, Jeff Sessions, And General Flynn. 

I also believe that President-elect Trump is working within a conflict of interest by not releasing his financial records and continuing his business through his family instead of entrusting it in a blink trust. The fact that foreign leaders are already being pressured to stay at Trump branded hotels when they visit on official business also worries me greatly.

I would also like to implore you to keep the Affordable Care Act, as I and many others that I know rely on the laws that were put into effect for our continuing health coverage.

That’s it. That’s all you need to say. I don’t care if you have to scrawl it on a napkin in crayon or send it in on a potato, all I care about is that you write the letter and send it in. 

If they don’t want to hear our voices anymore, fine. But then they’re going to have to deal with our letters. And while Ryan and McConnell are definitely the big guys to go after, you should still continue to contact your local Senator’s and Representatives through phone lines, and then if they get full go ahead and find the address to their Washington DC office (or local office, whichever you prefer I just think sending a bunch of letters to Washington DC will really send a message) and send them a letter. Send five letters. Send  five letters and a potato. I don’t care. Just send them.

Don’t become complacent after only a week. Keep fighting!

Letters really do have an impact. Politicians know that it takes SERIOUSLY pissed off voters to spring for postage.

I’m not even kidding. And don’t stop with these guys. Hit your senators and your representative. Hit party leaders. Even if you’re a democrat–let them know what kind of tactics you’ll find acceptable. Do you want them to stonewall Trump the same way they stonewalled us for six years? Tell them that! Your reps want to know if you have their backs, if they decide to really throw themselves at opposing. Send letters to those leaders you do like. Kamala Harris singing a tune you like? Let her know! Let whoever becomes the head of the DNC know, too.  We just witnessed an outsider take over a historically leaderless party. This is a chance for the progressive wing to do the same thing, but for the cause of good. We’re at a turning point. But don’t let anyone fool you into thinking we don’t get a say. Our position sucks, frankly, but if it took Bush’s bungling to get us Obama, what might we be able to win if we can survive this?

This is actually good for people with anxiety about talking on the phone.

The President and the Vice President’s jobs are to listen to the people and hear their plea, but instead, they demand for an apology like some sort of baby dictator. 

It’s even better that Trump is saying that theaters shouldn’t involve Politics, but Hamilton is LITERALLY all about politics and how an immigrant helped to established and founded our nation.

If you can’t take it from him, take it from a survivor like me. These are REAL words.

Easy for you to say, Mark. You have thousands of dollars in the bank and a stable, fun, job. Your basically a celebrity. Millions of fans would die for you. For some people like me who have been to a low place in my life where I wanted to end it, sometimes life isn’t fair. It was fair to you, it certainly wasn’t fair to me. So telling people like us who live shit lives, and will never benefit or make any difference to the world that life is worth living, makes no sense. 

It may be hard to imagine but I have been at that low point too. It’s true, I do have a wonderful job and a comfortable life but before that came the dark times. I remember lying in a hospital bed and staring up at the ceiling and just wondering “WHY.” I had just had a tumor removed, was in thousands of dollars of debt, exited an abusive relationship, and lost my job with only my mom’s basement to look forward to. And while my story may not be as low as many others have been, I’m living proof that you can pull yourself out of the darkness. You just have to believe that the future can be better. ALWAYS believe.

In a blink of an eye a national hero can turn into enemy just because he decided to defend his opinion! And this opinion was not directed against any of these newly-haters. He just wanted to appeal to reason! He just wanted some equality for his brothers, to let them live freely in this country!

He is not a traitor, he is not giving up his country! He only wants some justice!

Being an American doesn't mean blindly loving everything about your country just because everyone else tells you to. (For the record, that's actually much closer to fascism.) Being an American means believing in justice for all, and doing what you believe is right to protect others from persecution and injustice. And that's not just an American value, it's basic human decency. People deserve to be treated kindly. They deserve to be free.

Colin Kaepernick is a seriously awesome guy for sticking by his beliefs like this, even in the face of violent rejection by his fans and his team. He's raising awareness of a serious issue facing millions of Americans, and he's donating huge amounts of his salary to charities that help the less fortunate. He's no traitor - on the contrary, he's the living definition of a real hero.
