So if you are in a really bad place right now, I recommended you create a self care routine. I once felt like nothing would get better for me and because I was focusing on my problems so much I wasn’t listening to my mind nor my body’s need and wants. Yet, ever since I started listening to my body and mind, I have recognized how much it has changed my perspective and correlated to events happening currently in my life. Start off by improving your hygiene, do more then just the basic hygiene, this gets your mind focused on a task rather then your problems! It also makes you start to feel better about you! Next, try to work out for at least 45 minutes a day, this also allows your mind to focus your attention strictly to the workout, and also strengthens your mind and your body creating a better mood for accomplishing the work out that you choose. Before you go to rest, put your phone down, and give your self time reflect on your day and your thoughts and then write down how you are feeling. Writing down what you feel is important because you are physically letting out your thoughts and that makes us feel better, that’s why we sometimes shit our feelings on to people and rant but this way you are helping yourself and not putting that energy on them, which can sometimes drag people down with you. If you need help falling to sleep, grab a book, it’s important to keep your mind just as smart as your body and it doesnt hurt to expand your knowledge. This also helps to distract the mind for a bit and makes you sleepy because we all know that working our brain too much makes us just want to nap, that’s why we sleep in school. But just like excersizing your body you should also excersize your mind. If you don’t like books read a good article over something you are interested in before you rest, this keeps you from overthinking and crying yourself to sleep. This is only my routine, a lot of different people do different things, so create one that fits you.
