Love Yourself

@jasnherflowers

I luv girls

Pride’s tomorrow and I wanted to say this

Shout-out to all the people that are in the closet this pride

Shout-out to all the people that can’t celebrate pride because of safety reasons

Shout-out to all the people that live in countries where it’s illegal

Shout-out to everyone with pride but can’t show it

Shout-out to everyone who’s ashamed of who you are. There’s no need to be, you’re perfect.

Shout out to everyone who can’t be open this pride, I’m here for you all and it will get beter

I Used to Cry Everyday

You continue to break my heart everyday but I haven’t cried in months so you must be doing something right.

it doesn’t matter how good you’re doing, those sad nights will creep up on you from time to time and that’s ok. doesn’t mean all your progress is gone

It’s okay if the most significant thing you did this year was get through it

Couches

I have always chose to sleep on couches even when given the option to rest in a bed.

I never knew why I loved couches so much.

But tonight, as I claim my spot on the couch, I realize that I love them so much because they make me feel less alone.

See, if I had the option to rest with another, I would give them the luxury of sharing a bed.

HNY everyone. i hope this year is better than the last. i hope you accomplish what you want to accomplish and even if you don’t, i hope you give it your all and understand that sometimes, that is all you can do. i hope you learn to be strong enough to let go of anything/anyone that is toxic to you. to let go of anything or anyone that holds you back from being the best version of yourself; or holds you back from any of your goals. i hope you learn to love. fully and wholeheartedly. i hope you allow yourself to be vulnerable in the right circumstances. to know that expressing feelings is important. to know that telling someone you’re not okay is vital to your mental state. know that you are never alone, that i am always here if you need someone. that i am always here to listen, give advice or to just be someone you vent to and i’ll leave it. i hope this year is better than the last. even if it’s just a little bit

a concept: me, in my underwear and an oversized shirt, cooking breakfast for someone who loves me a lot.  the dogs are at my feet.  it is snowing, but we are warm.  donald trump has apologized for all the stupid stuff he’s said.

Being in love is terrible when the love is not reciprocated.

So if you are in a really bad place right now, I recommended you create a self care routine. I once felt like nothing would get better for me and because I was focusing on my problems so much I wasn’t listening to my mind nor my body’s need and wants. Yet, ever since I started listening to my body and mind, I have recognized how much it has changed my perspective and correlated to events happening currently in my life. Start off by improving your hygiene, do more then just the basic hygiene, this gets your mind focused on a task rather then your problems! It also makes you start to feel better about you! Next, try to work out for at least 45 minutes a day, this also allows your mind to focus your attention strictly to the workout, and also strengthens your mind and your body creating a better mood for accomplishing the work out that you choose. Before you go to rest, put your phone down, and give your self time reflect on your day and your thoughts and then write down how you are feeling. Writing down what you feel is important because you are physically letting out your thoughts and that makes us feel better, that’s why we sometimes shit our feelings on to people and rant but this way you are helping yourself and not putting that energy on them, which can sometimes drag people down with you. If you need help falling to sleep, grab a book, it’s important to keep your mind just as smart as your body and it doesnt hurt to expand your knowledge. This also helps to distract the mind for a bit and makes you sleepy because we all know that working our brain too much makes us just want to nap, that’s why we sleep in school. But just like excersizing your body you should also excersize your mind. If you don’t like books read a good article over something you are interested in before you rest, this keeps you from overthinking and crying yourself to sleep. This is only my routine, a lot of different people do different things, so create one that fits you.

Practice self care. Do things that make your body and soul happy. Try your best to get enough sleep when you can. Read a book that you like. Spend time with people and doing things that elevate you try and view your own well being as a legitimate priority
