I have so many thoughts and feelings about resident lover its such a wonderful game and I could ask a million questions but like I'll just ask the ones thats been bugging me the most. Spoiler warning! When miranda resets the loop, is she actually pushing back time or just wiping everyones memories? Are the townies having their memory reset as well or are they all playing an elaborate part?
She pushes back time and wipes memories in sort of a blanket spell that occasionally doesn't work, and certain people can build a resistance to if their will or soul is stronger than hers. Townsfolk aren't viewed as vital members of the reset, so more often than not, they'll have an occasional blip of remembering but they usually think they're crazy and it will resolve itself in the next loop.
