Just a tip about how these things work. When an (huge) outlet starts spreading false, insulting rumors about your client and their personal matters, first thing first you contact them and firmly force them to rectify their stance. Then, depending on the relevance of the issue, you resort to a concurrent outlet and set up an official, contrasting story, complete with Rep statement and/or the celebrity’s direct quotes. What you DON’T DO, what you absolutely don’t do, is let that offending outlet go on for weeks with their objectionable pushes AND THEN offer them the exclusive to deny that same story they brought up out of nowhere and let them gain even more visibility!
Seriously. If we weren’t already sure enough, today proved once and for all that Tmz is working closely with Louis’s team, getting detailed instructions on how to proceed, how to lead the narrative NT needs out and building an increasing attention over a non story that will end up in a big, noisy boom. No doubts.
