these are colorblind glasses. im about to take a walk around the neighborhood and experience colors like normal people. wish me luck, updates to come.
the trees. holy shit the trees. theyre different colors. like, a million different colors
grass….. it looks so soft… so green…
after laying in the grass for about an hour staring at the autumn leaves and laughing at how blue the sky is, i have some insight to share:
why the fuck do you people buy red cars like i had no idea how bright and obnoxious they looked
there are BERRIES on the trees. like bright red. id never noticed them because they blended in. a new problem has arisen now: how the fuck do you people keep yourselves from trying to eat them they’re so tempting looking
the fallen leaves are so beautiful and colorful and you all are heathens for stepping on them just to hear the crunchy sound they make
rainbows. let me tell you about rainbows. i see rainbows as various shades of brown and yellow, plus some blue. vaguely purple.
a few days ago, i saw a rainbow in these glasses. it had just finished raining and then the sun came out, and my friend and i scrambled out the door.
i saw green. red. orange. real, actual violet.
i cried. i cried so hard. i saw every color - something i never thought would happen in my life. imagine living your life without knowing something so beautiful exists, and all of a sudden it appears before your eyes. theres no way to prepare for it. the rainbow only lasted for five minutes before it disappeared, but every with second i stood there i became more amazed at how beautiful this world actually is, i just had no idea.
This is so pure

If you support Trump in any way, unfollow me and block me. I’m not interested in hearing your defense, I’m not interested in hearing your voice of reason, I’m not interested in hearing your heard-it-all-befores tucked neatly behind your bigotry. You stand behind a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a transphobe, a xenophobe, a classist, a fascist. You stand behind a man who openly mocked a disabled news reporter; a man who has stated that sexual assault in the military should be expected because, “What did these geniuses expect when they put men and women together?”; a man who called all Mexicans rapists and drug smugglers; a man who was sued in 1973 by the Justice Department (twice) for not renting to black applicants; a man who called for a ban of all Muslims coming into the United States; a man who is endorsed by David Duke, a former leader of the KKK; a man who is openly against gay marriage; a man whose Vice President, Mike Pence, wants to fund for conversion therapy and believes that it should be legal to introduce electroshock therapy to minors in the LGBT community, (despite it being proven that LGBT teens are more than eight times as likely to commit suicide after being exposed to conversion therapy); a man who wishes to control the bodies of women by illegalizing abortion and defunding Planned Parenthood, a foundation that is centered around education for women’s health and provides for a safe place for women to get abortions as well as other STI and HIV prevention; a man who is accused by 12 women of sexual assault, a man who has been accused of raping a minor alongside Jeffrey Espein (a billionaire and a registered Level Three sex offender) in 1994, a man with a substantial amount of evidence that proves he raped a minor in 1994.
You are placing your faith in a racist. You are placing your faith in a sexist. You are placing your faith in a homophobe. You are placing your faith in a rapist. You’ve seen the evidence, you’ve heard the witnesses, you’ve had the time to read up on the long history of misogyny and discrimination and bigotry. You have seen his belligerence, you have seen his recklessness, you have seen his injustice first-hand. Yet, despite all the resources being given to you, despite all the exposure to his wrongdoings, despite all the cries of White-Supremacy and Misogyny that the public has been vocal about for years, you are silent. You do nothing to address this. This tells me that you are either blindly placing your trust into a leader you know nothing about, that you are incapable of nothing more than surface-level thinking, or this tells me that you condone this type of behavior. You condone the acts of a violent racist, sexist, homophobe, and rapist. You sympathize with the acts of a violent racist, sexist, homophobe, and a rapist.
This is not about freedom of speech. This is not about the right to your opinion. This is personal on every degree. As a supporter of Trump, you are telling me that I do not have a right to my own body. As a supporter of Trump, you are telling me that you would rather me be electrocuted than be a part of the LGBT community; you would rather me be dead than part of the LGBT community. As a Trump supporter, you are telling me that the segregation of black people is an action that is forgiven. As a Trump supporter, you are telling me that the exclusion of Muslim people in a nation that constitutes the right to religious freedom is acceptable. As a Trump supporter, you are telling me that to every, and to all degrees, you do not care about the rights of women, people of color, or the LGBT community. As a Trump supporter, you are telling me that my life—that the lives of my best friends, the lives of my fellow LGBT community, the lives of my colored brothers and sisters do not matter to you. You stand behind a man who perpetrates hate, and has done this his entire life, and you do nothing, because deep down, you mirror his hatred.
A vote for Trump is a vote for hatred. I refuse to give time to anyone who supports Trump. I refuse to give the time of day to someone who is knowingly supporting a man who openly hates my existence as a bisexual woman, a man who openly hates my friends of color simply for being non-white. No amount of reasoning will justify why you follow a man who openly hates the existence of this many people. No amount of reasoning will justify his hatred, or your own. This has long stopped being a political bias, this has long stopped being about who’ll make a better president. I am exhausted by his hatred. I am exhausted by the massive amount of Trump supporters who feel that it is now acceptable to be openly prejudice at such an amplitude. I am exhausted that at the end of 2016, my sisters and I have to scream to convince people that our bodies belong to us, not to the men of political power. I am exhausted that at the end of 2016, I still have to scream to convince people that I am a valid member of this community no matter who I love. I am exhausted that at the end of 2016, my best friends will still have to scream to convince racists that they are valid members of this community no matter their skin color.
I am unwilling to associate with anyone who excuses this type of behavior. I am unwilling to associate with anyone who willfully overlooks this type of behavior. Ignoring the problem does nothing for the victim, but gives validation to the accused that, because no one will call the accused out for the crime, the accused may continue without fault or consequence. Ignoring the problem makes you part of the problem.
I’d credit the brilliant fucker if I could.
“nobody protested when Obama became president!!1!11!”, well Obama didn’t insult every minority in the book, Obama didn’t sexually assault women, Obama didn’t try to put a “ban” on a religion, Obama didn’t have an extremely homophobic running mate, Obama didn’t spread hatred

um hello yes i have a conspiracy theory, it’s called the systematic oppression of people of color and women leading to an underrepresentation of both groups in the media and in leadership roles, idk maybe that’s why all the 20 acting noms are white and all the director noms are men
