I just rewatched a lot of 31 minutos and this has been plaguing my mind for two days now

Alright, I probably haven’t checked out every little thing on them, because they’re riddled with easter eggs, but I’ll try and talk about the overall experience of playing with Tulio’s, Bodoque’s, Juanin’s and the Tramoyas’ interactive game. (Policarpo’s is sadly missing.)
The premise of the game is that you get to look into each of the characters’ mentioned computers. You see their (oldschool) Desktop with their files, games, videos, pictures, mail, music etc.
Each game has unique features, like Bodoque who has a messenger app where he talks to women and has every single one of his coworkers blocked. Tulio’s laptop has audio files of him reading his poems out loud, as well as a dress up game where you can pick clothes for him. Juanín’s laptop is a bit of a mess because according to the voiced intro, Patana got on it. Some of the tramoya’s files are fake, like one that’s labeled “ catch me if you can “ that you can chase around the desktop without ever getting to it, and one that’s labeled “explosive information” that explodes and leaves a dent on the screen as soon as you try and click it open.
Story-wise, it surprisingly has elements here and there of backstory of the characters. Bodoque has the mail he sent Tulio to get him to come work with him for Señor Manguera on 31 minutos. He suggests him to wear a tie, (“ that cloth-thing people wear around their necks”) as it would influence whether he’d end up making everyone a coffee or if he’d get a nicer job. Which he did, as we know he ended up becoming the moderator, despite Bodoque being sure it would be him when he wrote him that mail. Very cool easter egg ! Other backstory stuff includes pictures of them as kids and Bodoque being nicknamed “Juanca” (by Juanín, because his name is Juan Carlos) and “Tomatito” (because he’s red as a tomato).
Aside from that, there’s little jokes everywhere. The mp3 player has ads on it, one that particularly caught my eye is the “fried chicken and photocopies” store whose tagline is “follow the smell of fried stuff”. Joe Pino sometimes appears while you’re reading and starts rambling endlessly, you can click on him to shoo him away.
They clearly put a lot of thought into this, the game plays well even now. I recommend it from a 31 minutos fan to another !
Some warnings for before you play the game:
- It comes with a Quicktime installer (if you don’t have it) so you can play the game. It should download it by itself.
-run the .exe files in compatibility mode. For me, a window popped up that let me adjust this, but you might have to go to Properties>Compatibility of the .exe file to do it.
- by launching the game you automatically change your computer’s display to 600X800. You can change it back afterwards by going to your Settings>Display> and then clicking on the top-most which is the recommended ratio.
-Juanin’s game is incomplete. The others should be complete, but sometimes won’t let you play certain things. You can usually get to play those by restarting the game.
