Heres the thing you gotta understand about statistics.ย

โ€œIncreases your chances by 80%โ€ does not meanย โ€œthere is now an 80% chanceโ€.ย

If your chances were previously 10%, your chances are now 18%, not 90%.ย

if your chances were roughly 1%, theyโ€™re now just slightly less than 2%.ย

thats how that works.ย

Wow I donโ€™t understand math at all

โ€˜if you have a baby after 35, the chance of deformities goes up by 100%โ€™ is a line I hear alot.

It goes up from .5% to 1%

I think my brain just stopped working

100% is just another way of saying twice more likely. So 100% more basically means multiply the number you do have by 2.

Kinda feel like there's some untapped meme/reaction image potential from old horror movie trailers...

I am beyond excited to announce that Vertigo Peaks, the first book in The Vertigo Legacy duology, is up for preorder! Thank you for your endless support. And please save your preorder receipts for I have planned so many special things for you!

Hereโ€™s the blurb:

An unexpected guest. A tempestuous liaison. A marriage falling apart.

In the eclipse of her marriage, Valerieโ€™s days are cold and lonely. As Ethan Vertigoโ€™s new bride, she suffers from isolation and hostility from the townspeople. That is, until an unexpected traveler appears at her door to seek refuge from the snowstormโ€”Mircalla Karnstein.

The mysterious and charming visitorโ€™s presence is accompanied by feverish nightmares and itching puncture marks, and Valerieโ€™s reputation is threatened when Mircalla draws her close with passionate midnight escapades.

As rumors of a plague terrorize the town and the dark secrets of Vertigo Peaks surface, Valerie struggles to reconcile her growing desire for Mircalla and her role as Ethan Vertigoโ€™s wife.

When every love story begins with blood, does it matter who bleeds first?

Inspired by Sheridan Le Fanuโ€™s timeless Carmilla, Vertigo Peaks is the first book in a sapphic vampire romance duology. It is best suited for mature readers.
