your favourite "bad" movie has literally nothing on the doctor who movie. the movie was intended to bring doctor who back to television and they attempted to achieve this by using a bunch of obscure lore. they put paul mcgann in a wig and he hated it. it introduced a plotline that the rest of the show has been attempting to retcon for decades. it has some of the best standalone characters i've ever seen. instead of giving the seventh doctor an emotional farewell he just gets fucking shot. awful movie 10/10

not only is the doctor critically wounded in a gang war 0.2 seconds after setting foot in america - he's then officially killed by medical malpractice, which really says everything about my country. and after he regenerates, he walks out of the morgue like an allegory for jesus, and he somehow wanders into an abandoned wing of the hospital that's strewn with shards of glass, dead leaves, broken mirrors, and creepy dolls.

y'know. like all hospitals have.
