Your faves are problematic: birds
Sometimes enter large grocery stores with no intention of buying anything
Nah, it builds a nest on top of the drink cooler and lives there for months. Often seen flying across the store to the pet food aisle to steal a snack.
Just sitting here at work and realized it's Thursday and they're playing 'Out of Touch' on the overhead.
Okay I’m actually curious now so i made a uquiz to test how well you can recognize car logos
It gets harder as you go but hopefully there’s fun to be had in the frustration :)
I couldn’t finish it. This is hell. This is what hell looks like to me.
An endless hallway of cars I have to recognize.
i would not survive in the wild
A trio of witches who live on the outskirts of town as outcasts befriend a neighbor child. They are annoyed at first by them but after their persistence realize they are genuine. One day they don’t show up as usual so the witches look for them and learn the town has been taken over by soldiers.
"Hey, what are you kids doing?" Harp yelled at the village children that were in the garden.
She trudged out of the side door of the cottage. They saw her coming and ran, slipping between the fence rails and up the hill toward the village. All of them ran except one little girl who stopped just after passing through the fence. She turned and watched Harp trudge up the garden path to where she had seen the children.
Harp was an old woman, bent and wrinkled by age. She lived in a little cottage at the edge of a small village with her two equally elderly sisters and together they managed a decent sized garden. They grew all sorts of fruits and vegetables and lots of herbs and a few strange plants. Most of the latter were used for making potions and the like. ‘Witches’ they were called by the villagers because of that and they were ok with it. It was safer that way. It was better than being called ‘monsters’.
The children had been by the strawberry plants. Harp made her way there and bent closer to inspect the plants to make sure they didn’t damage any. She was aware that the little girl was still there but she just ignored her.
“May I please have a berry?” the little girl suddenly asked.
Harp looked up at her and frowned. The child looked to be about seven. Soft brown skin, dark, untamed curls that reminded Harp of her sister Neme, and dark eyes, not unlike her other sister, Basi.
“No,” she said simply.
“Why not?” the girl asked.
“The strawberries have only just started to grow,” Harp told her as she went back to inspecting the plants. “They are not ready to harvest yet.”
“Oh,” was all the little girl said, a little disappointed.
When Harp looked again, the girl was walking back up the hill to the village.
Can I interest you in this picture of this cat we recently adopted? His name is Motley. He is a sweet old boy that no one wanted to adopt cause of his looks and age. But my sister (who works at the local animal shelter) convinced my mom to at least foster him. (Cause my sister already has her own houseful of cats[9+].) It was only two week before my mom said we’re keeping him. Unfortunately, we still have to keep him separated from our other cat who just hates all other cats from some reason but he is pretty chill about it. She stays upstairs while he hangs out downstairs with me.
My armour is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!
I feel like there needs to be an author alignment chart
