Things I would say if I wasn’t so afraid:
Last Thursday I was really sad. I can’t tell you why exactly. I think I was realising how much time I lost to being sad.
I think a lot of people would say they loved me back if only I had the courage to say it first.
I never loved you but I cared about you so much. I respected you. I admired you. It hurt me in ways I can’t describe when you left. Maybe I loved you after all.
