prompt: Jacob notices you've had a long day at work, so he decides it's his turn to look after you and your turn to relax.

A/N: I know this is quite basic but I think it's a good place to start. :) I hope you enjoy it!

You had been working hard to catch up on all the paperwork Evie had assigned you, not even taking a break to eat or drink. Jacob had seen you working yourself into exhaustion and couldn't help but frown seeing you like this, he wanted to help but wasn't too sure how. That's when Jacob decided it was his turn to look after you whether you like it or not.

A little confession from a very jealous Jacob.

The rooks had been successful in their attempt at taking over Lambeth from the blighters and templars, and celebrated their victory at the nearest pub.

You were sat at the bar drinking by yourself when a drunkard stumbled towards you, "h-how about I buy you a drink?" You accept because who would turn down a free drink? He makes his way to the stool next to you, barely keeping his back straight.

Jacob however was in the corner of the pub drinking and chatting with the rooks, Jacob caught the sound of you giggling and turned his head to see what you were laughing at. Another man, Jacob couldn't stand this and made his way towards you.

Standing right behind you Jacob coughed for your attention. "Hey Jacob" you say turning around to see him, rather grumpily he barks for you to "come with me I need to talk to you privately"

Jacob leads you to a supply closet, "who was that man?" Jacob demands. "How is that any of your business" you bark back, "because your mine" Jacob says with no change in expression, still angry about the drunkard. "W-what?" You stutter in shock from his bluntness, Jacob cups your cheeks with his hands "I can't pretend anymore, I am so very in love with you, your all I think about and I have grown to care for you deeply - will you be mine and no one else's?" He asks.

You stand there still staring at Jacob trying to process what he said. "Please.. say something" Jacob asks anxiously staring you in the eyes. "Oh Jacob, of course - I love you so much, I would love to be yours" you respond, Jacob smiles widely at this and pulls you into a very sloppy kiss.
