I realized I never uploaded the finished piece oops- This ways my Drawing final for the 2020 spring semester, we had to take a famous piece and put our own spin on it. I toke "The Monarch of the Glen" by James Giles 1861 and turned the deer into a spirit guide of a sort. Candle lit antlers holding the balance of life and death as some candles flicker with a burning light as others have been diminished forever. They went past by what was called the Whale nebula or galaxy? Or sth resembled like that. Tried to make it shape that way. And I revealed a process then finished off with some lighting.

I just thought about Alex waiting for Hank after he dies like Vanessa does for Wade and I'm crying in the club
Omggg you must be a mind reader because @zombiemutt-trash-center and I have been talking about this where Alex is just waiting for Hank…ugh it’s sooo ridiculously sad and I’ve been wanting to write a fic about it for so long now. I have this idea where the events of Apocalypse happen (Alex dies 😭) and rewatching it I’ve noticed Hank’s running after him and trying to grab him and yank him back but he’s unable to. Like Hank was right behind him when he died, don’t you think that would haunt him??? I want a fic where Hank is haunted by this and he tries to find ways to see Alex again (maybe some DOFP idk) and when he does, Alex is just waiting for him and he says what Vanessa said to Wade “Your heart is not in the right place” and Hank doesn’t know what he means by that so of course he again thinks and overthinks about it until one day he finally understands what Alex means and one day he does join him (or Hank finds a way to bring Alex back). Regardless, it’s just a bunch of angst
Asdffgvvjjkvdf I seriously think now that Cable is here he might be able to save Alex since that’s his uncle! Hank is really bothered when Raven says “we’re the only ones left” and if Dark Phoenix kills her off then its just Hank. Hank isn’t the type of man to just let things go, I’m sure after meeting future Logan he’d start looking for ways to turn back time but nothing works. After he gets hurt really bad during a battle he sees Alex waiting for him in his lab but there’s a wall separating them and Alex won’t look up at him. Hank is revived and is fully determined to find a way to bring Alex back. Everyone says its just a dream, even Scott is convinced Hank has gone insane. But Hank’s just hell bent on saving Alex from death itself.
OR if we go time travel and Hank can go back, maybe Hank saves Alex from the fire in time but he’ll die fighting later on and it just seems no matter what Hank does he can’t save Alex from dying and he just breaks down after the tenth time because he can’t stand it

I can so see Hank becoming a Victor Frankenstein, becoming obsessive with trying to play god and find a way to bring Alex back to life. Scott’s just kinda like “let it go Hank” but Hank won’t let it go, not when he’s this close
Omg yesss like if Hank goes back and saves Alex, I feel like he’ll just keep being protective of him and find a bunch of ways to keep Alex alive but another part of Hank wants to leave Alex at peace but he’s so conflicted between the two.
I read your tags on this and I hope Alex went somewhere else like he did in the comics, I’m still not accepting Alex is dead and he’s still alive to me and that’s the way I’ll always see him
The only issue is when Alex is taken to another universe, its one where the X-Men are bad guys and the brotherhood are the heroes. But it would be a good set of movies if marvel decides to go that route.
That would be sooo interesting though but Alex would probably find Hank and be like “This isn’t you” and all that and try to find a way to make Hank and the rest good
