Okay this will be the one and only time in my entire life I complain about they/them pronouns because I can’t tell if Jedward is
a) a pair of twinks who use each use singular pronounce separately
b) a singular twink who uses they/them pronouns and simply has a thing for posing with photoshopped images of themself

d) an untold number of twinks, each using their own preferred pronouns, possibly preparing for a full on assault of the Vatican

As someone who just adopted a third doggo from the shelter, please do it if you can find a dog right for you. Those shelters do everything they can to keep them alive, but it’s a family that keeps them happy.

Plus? Those animals in the pound? They KNOW that they are on death row. My first dog as a married woman was an eleventh hour adoption. A 13-y-o basset hound mix (pound said they thought he was 11 because they were trying to save him by making him sound a teeny bit younger) and he was “Til death do we part” loyal. We lost him 4 years later to cancer, and we (the family had grown from 2 to 3 humans) were devastated.
My sister? Fosters cats, and ended up with a charmer who’d been hit by a car. Sephiroth is a well loved asshole, and his brother, Cloud (a stray who found a sucker bet), is almost canine levels of friendly.
Be a superhero. Save a life. Rescue.
As much as I want various cat breeds I always rescue. There really is no option.
so I tweeted about tom and zendaya’s gender neutral answers to when being asked what kinda girls/boys they liked and some people are jumping mad calling them “straight celebs trying to get attention” idk man literally no one else is speculating their sexuality there but you getting offended by them simply using gender neutral terms. also if you really think that tom holland, a guy who can barely keep secrets in interviews would think “oof I’m gonna change the term ‘girls’ to ‘people’ so the internet would freak out” before answering the question then I think you have too much faith in him

the goal of these alternatives is not to shut down dissent, but to change the level of confidence and authority you give yourself in discussions.

the updated statements position your opinions and knowledge as being confirmed by you considering the information you have available-- others can voice their concerns and disconfirm, but this requires them to logically explain with facts/evidence why they disagree with you.
apparently the people who stormed the capital just went back to their hotels in northern virginia and were milling around outside and so the alexandria and arlington mayors asked for curfews so that the insurrectionists would have to go inside their hotels instead of milling around in the streets
