Headcanon time: Fandral has always found Thor’s little brother kind of sexy but probably never acted on it because he figured Thor would smite him. Then Loki ends up as king and Fandral knows this might be trouble but it’s also the hottest thing he’s ever seen. If he hadn’t gotten dragged off to rescue Thor, he would totally have gone to the throne room alone and asked Loki to bang him.

I mean look at that face. I have rarely seen anyone look more aroused in my life.

@lokisgoodgirl I really think Loki and Fandral were involved somehow – not necessarily sexually, but there was something going on between them.

How else did this happen:

“I see your time in the dungeons has made you no less graceful, Loki!”

If anyone else had said that to Loki, it would’ve ended badly (either him pulling his walls up or attacking verbally). Especially if it came from anyone out of Thor’s circle.

But from Fandral, Loki accepts it.

What I also love is the way they set this up. Before this scene, we see each person out of Thor’s friend circle (including Thor himself) threatening Loki’s life should he betray Thor in some way.

This is the only scene we get with Fandral and Loki where Fandral could’ve taken the same route – but he doesn’t. Instead he jokes around and brings up nostalgic memories to kinda lighten the mood.

The two of them share some kind of connection. There’s a deeper understanding between them. Fandral is the only one (between him, Sif, Volstagg and Thor) who actually listens to Loki in that first gifset from Thor 1. And that’s because, unlike the others, he doesn’t see Loki as fully other.

Fandral’s loyalties don’t lie 100% with Thor, lol 😄

Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me. Could explain some kind of brothers-in-arms bond they’ve formed on the battlefield. The nights get very lonely, after all…

And from what we see of him, Fandral is the most free-spirited one out of Thor’s friend circle. Wouldn’t be surprised if he just walked over to Loki one night and offered to help him out.

So they arrest him he finds out they are all variants that TVA brainwashes and now he fights for them. Wow.

This show, I swear. It's about everything but what they said it'd be about. Who honestly gives that big a frack about the TVA?? They really didn't even need to drag Loki into this. They could've just called this show Marvel's TVA and it still could've been their long, drawn out, roundabout way of introducing a Lady Loki without Loki even having to be a part of it. If the TVA is really such a swell organization, and Mobius and Sylvie such incredibly amazing characters, then they could've carried the show just fine without Loki's endorsement presence to help them. Can they just say they never really wanted to make a show about Loki and just go away already?

@shadowsofloki i think marvel fears that without the name loki on it no one would ever want to watch it and it would crash and burn (rightfully so). And i think they hate his popularity and success and for what he stands/what he presents (the outcasts, ...) but who knows for sure 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Also, I suspect he’s extremely jealous that Thor is all heart-eyes for Jane (not in a romantic way -- I don’t ship Thorki -- but more in a little-bro-wanting-big-bro’s-attention sort of way).
