FEAR NOT CITIZENS, HOPE HAS ARRIVED
I’m convinced Shayna Bazsler is just an evil version of Bayley from an alternate universe.
Has been thinking long and hard about Neji, the Hyuuga clan and the branch system and it has occurred to me that Himawari should have been sealed.
As the second born of the heiress, as a half blooded Hyuuga with the Byakugan, to parallel with Neji and Hizashi, like a metaphor or karma as she seems proficient as Nej, who was a genius (and I am assuming that Hizashi was a genius as well.) I think she’s a cute kid and the branch system is terrible but it’s what is deserved. Why should Hiashi’s grandchild be any different from anyone else?
Also, despite her marriage Hinata is still a Hyuuga even if she did step down for Hanabi, and if anything she and Himawari should be branded at this point as the brand was created not only to separate the clan members into two categories and to control one half while the other is praised but to also protect the Byakugan from anyone trying to steal it.
Remember why Hizashi died?
Even if Hinata and Himawari are wife and child of the Hokage that doesn’t mean that they’re in less danger as Hyuugas with Byakugan living in the compound. They probably in more danger not living in the Hyuuga compound and being connected to Naruto and if there was an invasion, while they’d be heavily protected because of Naruto’s position anything can happen, right?
I’m pretty annoyed with the fact that the Hyuuga branch/main house issue was brushed aside and that Hiashi is a happy grandpa when we always saw him as a rotten, heartless, unfeeling bastard. I treat next gen as a particularly bad fanfic written by someone who lightly skimmed Naruto. None of the characters are the ones we grew to know as we read along, these are completely different unlikable people with unlikable to a point children who are mirror images of the originals done poorly.
The Naruto we grew to know and love while reading the manga/watching the anime would have worked his ass off to change the shinobi system and would have worked just as hard if not harder to eradicate the branch/main classes, married to Hinata or not Naruto made a promise and he was, originally, an honor bound loveable oaf of his word.
I’ll add on more angry wangst later.
I mean, if you were the Hyuuga, would you attempt to seal the daughter of a man that literally beat a god and a woman that gouged out the eyes of a Demigod ?
