'The rusting of metal'
The process of rusting sheet metal using photographic fluid fixative over a period of five days. ‘Day one’ ‘Day two’ ‘Day three’ ‘Day four’ ‘Day five’ The finished piece, infact it will never be finished as it will carry on corroding and changing colour, almost dictating what colour that it will change into.
Some of my peers working to put the exhibition togeather, which came togeather well, the location wasnt the best but looked great, the only thing lacking was vistors.

My work on display at Centrespace which actually surprised me the way that it came togeather, as an installation it works well, the sheet meatal was a last minute addition because i didnt feel the canvas would work alone with the tree. this is a colour photograph but looks black and white.

This is something that i tried with the help of a special computer programme, my idea was to have moving flames on one of my trees which i tried and think worked very well, i also tried some other images which visually worked but was not what i wanted. The two mediums are something that i intend to use in some of my future work.

Close up photographes of the calico that have had rusty nails added to them and mixed with different solutions to see what marks can be made using these materials on material.
The test pieces that have had an handful of nails added to them then a solution added ie vinegar, salt etc to see what marks are made and that can maybe used in the futre.,

A tree that i am making using plaster and rusty nails, the nails graduate in size from bottom to top starting with the longest ones at the ase of the trunk then graduating in size the further up the tree i go.
