I am... confused by that "Ghostbusters compared to Wonder Woman" post and no, I know it's talking about the recent Ghostbusters remake.
Well, some people were saying Ghost Busters remake failed because “female leads” and that’s not the only one they have blamed of having that. Wonder Woman showed the opposite. GB failed because the way it was managed. You know I’ve mentioned I’m always searching for interesting female characters but, in my opinion, that movie went over the edge with “Girrrl Power” and “men are stupid” and that’s not the way. Isn’t equality the idea? It’s not a good thing to think that to show good female characters we should ridicule the male ones. Besides, for me, it didn’t had a so interesting plot.
Also, it’s funny because they were saying for so many time, specifically, that a Wonder Woman movie will not succeed since she’s not as popular as Batman (A common question always was: “Do you know someone of her rogue’s gallery? I know many of Batman’s”) and many of them also said that she being female made her less appealing.
As many people said, Wonder Woman has a main character that happens to be a girl. Being a girl is not her main trait and that works wonders. That’s the thing people should learn when writing good characters. Also, as I see, it’s a super hero movie, it doesn’t try hard to show angst and conflict.
So there you have. People and even friends who always told me that a WW movie will never succeed… I hope all those words have a nice taste. Muahaha. >:)
CASTLEVANIA NETFLIX SERIES TEASER TRAILER RELEASED!
I’m EXTREMELY proud to announce that I am the Director of the Castlevania Netflix series, coming July 7th! Me and the gang at Powerhouse Animation Studios have been hard at work bringing one of our favorite game franchises to life in this animated series. It’s a labor of love for all that are involved and we can’t wait for everyone to get to check it out!

“Roommates” (2017)
Well, here it is. My senior thesis, finally complete. It’s been a long, hard road. Very hard. But it’s done now, and that’s what matters.
I haven’t updated production in a while, and there’s a reason for that. During the final month I had to be hospitalized for mental health issues; I lost a week of production time as an inpatient, and during outpatient recovery, continued production was excruciatingly difficult. I was almost certain I would have to take an Incomplete for the class. And yet, somehow, the film was completed on time – thanks to the help and support of friends, family, doctors, professors, and animation assistants. The final version is not quite the quality I had originally had in mind, due to hastened production, but I am more than satisfied with how it turned out given the circumstances. Perhaps I will revisit this someday, perhaps not. I do want to continue working with these characters someday, though.

Do you remember that show League of Super Evil from 2009? It was that 3D animated show about villains who were bad at being villains. The new show Villainous might have been inspired by it.
You’re joking, right? How can that inspired Villainous? I can buy that they can be inspired by Evil Con Carne but League of Super Evil? Now you’re going to say Martin Mystery inspired Gravity Falls…..
Watching Villainous, you don’t seem them fail at something, they are mostly acting as villains without making them look like losers as League of Super Evil.
You need to look and learn more about a show before comparing it with another. It may have the same theme but not the same direction.
