“Wake up early tomorrow. Eat a good breakfast. Do your hair and makeup and put on a kick-ass outfit. Buy your cup of coffee and enjoy every sip of it. Go to work, make that money, and learn something new in the process. Nourish. Grow. Inspire. Self-destruction is not an option. And let every choice you make be a brick in the foundation of rebuilding yourself.”

I firmly believe that any woman who wants to level up and marry well needs to go through pageant training. You don't actually need to compete in pageants but you need to know how to look the part, how to answer questions, and how to hold yourself as a lady. It's no secret that incredibly high value men love beauty queens and models and I believe that there's a lot of confidence required to be a model or a pageant queen. Winning pageants isn't just all about beauty, brains and confidence play a huge part in getting crowned and going on to be a pageant queen.
I've competed in pageants in Brazil and won many local ones starting as a child, I had a speech impediment and being forced to stand in front of a crowd and speak fluently and eloquently helped me overcome it, when I moved to America, I competed in pageants as well and won one for my fave fraternity at my university. Being able to compete and think to myself that I could do anything again if I did it once was the thing I needed to conquer my fears and set me on the road to success in America as an American citizen and in Brazil as a Brazilian woman.

I believe in fajas like I believe in God, there's nothing like putting on my faja and feeling the compression kick in. My mother wears hers religiously, my grandmother wears hers 24/7, my cousin swears that hers cured her scoliosis pain by fixing her posture, my other cousin lost 160 pounds and has no loose skin because she was a devout wearer of her faja. Fajas are an old secret and the best fajas are made in Colombia.
Fajas are basically a full body compression garment that come with or without a waist trainer built in and with or without a bra built in, they come in multiple levels of compression, they're extremely comfortable to wear once you've acclimated yourself to them, they're a little bit of an investment but they work absolute wonders on your body and your posture. I'm personally addicted to my faja and wear it absolutely whenever I can, I wear it to classes, I wear it whenever I'm fully covering my midriff, and I especially wear it during the winter months when the snow is falling down.
Fajas usually come in beige or black and sometimes cocoa brown so I bought RIT dye to dye my faja 'caramel cognac' to match my skin tone and blend in more easily. I do also love black fajas for when I don't care if someone sees mine, I think that they're as chic and sophisticated as a compression garment could be and I tend to wear them in the winter when I'm wearing all black outfits and want to be able to match with those fits. There are also full body fajas and sometimes I'll just wear a black one with black yoga pants and a black bolero ballet wrap sweater and call it a day.
Before you put on your faja, you're going to take a HOT shower and use an exfoliating mitt and exfoliating scrub to scrub the hell out of your body. You're going to give yourself absolutely no mercy and it go for it, hot water, lots of scrubbing in every crevice, and lots of exfoliating scrub. I would also take this time to shave as your scrub away all of your dead skin and really vigorously awaken your body. Right before you get out of the shower, you're going to change the temperature of your shower to ice cold and do one more scrub and mini exfoliate, I promise it'll pay off in the end.
You're then going to dry yourself with a clean towel and completely let your body air dry and then you're going to get your dry brush and buff the hell out of your body. Firm and fast strokes on your midriff, your arms, anywhere you can reach, once you've stopped buffing, you're going to take your Bio-Oil and firmly massage that into your stomach and back and anywhere you can reach BUT focus on your stomach and really massaging it into that area and massaging any stretch marks or stomach fat/cellulite you have with the Bio-Oil.
Once you're done with that, you're going to put your faja on. Putting fajas on can be a bitch so I'd suggest either having help or laying down on your bed. I personally would suggest getting the fajas with the hook and eye closure instead of the zipper closure faja. I do prefer fajas with the zipper crotch instead of an open crotch, I find that they're easier to utilise when I need to use the restroom and I can wear them under a skirt without having to worry about some sort of pervert upskirting me or seeing absolutely everything I have hidden.
You're going to do this is lukewarm water, I never wash my hair in hot water because it's terrible for hair and ice cold water is the best temperature for conditioning hair and making your hair have a beautiful shine and glow to it. I only use lukewarm water while I'm shampooing to activate the shampoo and help sanitise my hair. I always use Silicon Mix shampoo, it's an old Dominican secret and I absolutely love the smell of it, I use quite a bit of it and it's the only thing that I'd ever shampoo my hair with, it's a miracle maker. I really take the time to scrub my scalp and make sure that each and every one of my strands of hair has been thoroughly shampooed and scrubbed until it's clean.
You'll then want to rinse your hair thoroughly and switch the water to cold as you start in with your silicon mix intensive hair conditioner, I use a small amount and then use my denman brush to completely detangle my hair before I go in with a thick and heavy layer of intensive conditioner and my denman brush and put my hair in a plastic shower cap, turn the water to steaming hot, finish the rest of my shower duties while my hair steams, and then after a while, switch the water back to cold, take my hair out of the shower cap, and rinse it out.
I then step out of the shower and detangle my hair once more before gently drying it with a clean t-shirt and then letting it air dry while I do a few other things. Once I'm done, I go back to my hair, take it down, use a tiny bit of my silicon mix leave in conditioner in it to give it a thin coating, and then I get into it. I spray it down with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer and make sure that my hair is completely coated in that and protected from heat, I grab my Conair round blowdry brush and my blow dryer, and I start at the root of my hair and I use the blowdry brush to blowdry away from my face while rotating the brush until I reach the end of my hair, I then use a curler to roll my hair up the opposite direction towards my face, I use a bobby pin to secure it, and I keep going like that until all of my hair is in curlers and secured with pins.
Once I'm at that point, I spray my hair with Got2BGlued spray and put a hairnet on to secure all of my curlers in place, and then attach my bonnet hood hairdryer to my blow dryer, put it on my head over my curlers, dry my hair through one episode of a show on medium hot, and then I take off the bonnet hood hair dryer, check on my curlers, and put on a satin bonnet and sleep like that to truly allow them to set and so the style will last me much longer than it usually would. I only do this on Sunday nights and I want the style to last me until the next Sunday with ease without having to take the time to touch it up when I'm usually extremely busy through the week and on Saturdays. I like having low maintenance hair and I don't like doing my hair too much.
I wake up, shower and steam my hair with my hair still up and in a shower cap instead of a bonnet, I get out of the shower, and I immediately go ahead and take my hairnet off, take my bobby pins out, and take my curlers out before I go in with just a plain boars-bristle hair brush that I have and brush out the curls until my hair is smooth and sleek. The key to the style is using minimal product and using heat to make sure that your hair comes out perfect and the style will last with little to no maintenance throughout the week. You'll want to sleep with a satin bonnet or head scarf and you can throw your curlers in through the week if you want more volume and bounce in your hair. There you have it, a bastardised Brazilian/Dominican blowout for all hair types.
The weight loss section is pretty self explanatory. Count your steps (15,000 daily), drink a gallon (4 litres) of water per day, count your calories and make sure that you have a healthy caloric deficit going for yourself (I love My Fitness Pal), check in with your doctor before you make any drastic changes, only weigh yourself at the end of each month, and that's it, you'll be cruising along on the weight loss train in no time at all, it gets easier and much more fun when you get started and you'll see progress within time.
I believe in vision boards and I always have one hanging on my wall, I currently have three up: one for who I want to be, one for who I want to marry, and one for how I want to live my life. If you're starting out a hypergamous lifestyle and you want to get somewhere relatively quickly and start succeeding, you'll want to have a clear goals board. I love making these, I think that they're very fun and they're a good project to do when you're watching a show or just have some time to spare.
For my pageant training board, I have photos of my fave Miss Universe contestants at the official Miss Universe competition and also at the respective competitions from their home countries, I also have photos of other beautiful pageant queens who went into modelling or just models who never did pageants but who I admire on the back of that board. I'm sort of obsessed with making vision boards because they help me manifest my goals and they help me save time when it comes to knowing what I want, I feel like I only have to focus on how to thrive because I know what I want is either on it's way to me or it's already with me.
It's pretty easy, all you have to do is Google or use Pinterest to find photos that you like, arrange them on a Google Docs page to save paper and print more photos at one time, print them out, cut them out and put them to the side, arrange them on a poster board, glue them down, and then use super glue to glue a string to the back of the poster board if you'd like to hang your vision boards up. I love to hang mine up so that they're the first thing that I see in the morning and the last thing I see as I go to bed at night, I like my focus on the future to be sharp but I love to live in the present and figure out how to get what I need.
You'll need that sheet now and you'll need to tie it around your body into a toga or a halter dress, I personally tie mine into a halter dress and keep it a few inches above the floor so that I can see my feet, I leave a slit in the sheet so that I can clearly see my legs, and I made sure that the sheet (dress) is right around my body so that I can still see my curves and the silhouette of my body but it's still sort of disguised, I make that sheet look sexy. I then put on my Teaser2 heels whilst I'm seated in a chair (it's much easier to get up) and I make sure that they're secured to my feet and I'm comfortable and confident in them, I put my laptop on the chair, and I stand up and begin.
Basically, it's MUCH easier to learn how to properly walk in Teasers (5.5 inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform) than to learn how to walk in a lower heel, once you can walk in Teasers walking in anything else makes it seem like you're gliding on clouds. If you can walk on Teasers, you'll be able to walk on water and they are the perfect shoe, once you've worn them once, you'll be addicted to wearing them. I would learn how to walk on a hard surface because it can be hard and you don't want to slip, wood is best, you should also have a mirror so you can watch yourself or you can record yourself using your phone, the key to walking in Teasers is being able to keep your ankle strong and steady and walking with confidence, no matter how afraid you are to fall, take the first step and be firm when you do and I promise you that you won't fail even if you do fall.
You're going to go your laptop or phone or whatever on the chair, you're going to go onto YouTube, type in Miss Universe walking and pageant, and you're going to learn to walk like how the contestants walk until you're exhausted. You'll strut, you'll sway your hips, you'll roll your butt and keep your spine straight, you'll pose and roll your collarbones and straighten your spine, and you'll swing your hair. In short words, you'll be sex on legs and you'll be THAT girl who gives men heart attacks when she walks by them. You'll be pure "you can look but you can't touch" energy. I'm of the opinion that the Miss Universe contestants are pure femininity and so many of them are hypergamous women, they marry extremely well, they work the jobs that they want to (if they work at all), they sign lucrative contracts, and they do what THEY want to do because they've made that a choice for themselves.
Loooved this. Thanks hon
