Tbh same as you. Uni has started and it is really busy! I have so manyy assignments. Since I'm in literature major, I'm supposed to read novels and watch movies weekly. Somehow, there are novels that I hated at first, but as I learn more about the novels, I slowly loves them ^^ do you like reading novels/watching movies as well?
I love movies! My watchlist is getting bigger and bigger tho, cuz when I arrive home after lessons I'm too tired to watch anything lol. Also, I study molecular biology so it's not like they make us read or watch interesting stuff.
With novels it's even worse though, as high school totally killed my will to read. I heard its a pretty common thing, but many have a hard time starting to read again. I wanna try to, so if you have any really interesting novels to recommend me I'm willing to listen.
Applies to movies too, but well, my watchlist is so long it'll take me years to get to it >_<

yeah! the water fountains were totally free, I actually found a short explanation on those, if you feel like checking it out. They aren't common in my country either, although I think there were a couple of attempts to it in our biggest cities, also the water wasn't as good as the one in Wien :)

It was lovely! The most famous museum is the Belvedere, and although I'm not a fan of medieval/renaissance paintings there was also a contemporary art exhibit and boy there were some really weird artworks. Loved it. Tickets are free for people under 19 years of age so if you're young you should give it a shot!
We also visited the Prater, a big park just out of the city centre which gave me a bit of Central Park vibes. We even went on the ferris wheel :)
All in all I think the city was really visitor friendly, as they even installed loads of free water fountains to fight the extreme heat in the city, and I admit I was saved by those multiple times. Idk if what I'm saying is right, but on one of them it said they were called Brunhilde hahaha. My sister and I called them Katinka bc of Stranger Things tho. It was just so fun to run around the city and be like: "I'm thirsty! Let's see if we can find a Katinka!"
Last thing, bc I've already talked too much: the subway SLAPS. I've always been amazed by trains and a huge fan of the subway masters (pokemon characters, dont mind me obsessing over them since I was 14 lol. The fandom knew a big renaissance in the last year bc of a new game, and I'm just sooooo happy) but I don't really get to take them often as I live in a small town forgotten by god, so I was smiling like an idiot half of the time. let's go back to normal before anyone here starts to really doubt my sanity, the subway was well organized, relatively clean and not too crowded, as well as easy to understand (and mind it, I can't speak a word of german) and always on time. So yeah, sorry for the long ass ramble but the city was amazing <3
