One Day At A Time man… I’ve never watched a mainstream show or actually any show really that puts in the effort to have their lesbian character make references that only we fellow lesbians will get like 99% of the people in that audience and watching don’t know what the hell wynonna earp is and didn’t get that wayhaught joke but we did and they knew we would damn they care and they took the criticism about Elena calling Syd “girlfriend” and instead of throwing it back in people’s faces saying “you should just be thankful we even have this character” like all freakin shows do they took it to heart and corrected it in Syd’s first appearance back!!!! and they do all this while having it be hilarious and the reactions of the other character’s be loving and caring but also realistic!!!

There was a really incredible movie made in India in 2016, named after her (“Neerja”) and it really is well worth the watch. Really good film for a strong female lead, it made like $20 million at box office. It’s a super authentic, moving story. Really good for female led films. Has one of bollywood’s incredible women in it, Sonam Kapoor, as Neerja.
