You know no one really ever addressed the elephant in the room in iCarly. How come there’s just an elevator running through the inside of their apartment? like it’s a public elevator and we’ve seen other characters enter and leave the Carly’s apartment through it. It’s just there. does it run through other people’s apartments? what if you go to the wrong floor and you’re suddenly in someone elses house. one wrong button and you get front row seats to some weird kids filming some web show called “i carly” of all goddamned things. My students are up to something. They keep coming up to me and handing me pieces of fruit, and when I ask why, they just smile cryptically and say, “Don’t worry about it.”
Like, the apples I get. That’s a teacherly thing to give. But one of them just straight up handed me a grape.
I took a sick day today and sent an email to the first girl to hand me a piece of fruit, asking if I could have an explanation now.

Apparently this was the result of a number of my students playing Truth or Dare at a birthday party. I’m not sure which one of them came up with “I dare you to confuse Magistra by handing her a piece of fruit without explanation”, but I 100% approve of any thought process that ends with me getting free food.

I’ll try my best to describe this. It’s a video with a mash-up of a bunch of different Disney movies, set to a song that’s a mash-up of a bunch of other songs. That in and of itself wouldn’t make it praiseworthy, but this is DONE SO WELL that just, holy cow.

Proposal For a New Lesbian Flag
with the help of my friends, I made a new lesbian flag that has a meaning since the widespread lesbian flag we use has no meaning and was just posted as the lipstick/femme lesbian flag on a blog back in 2010. I know a lot of lesbians including myself who would rather have a flag with a meaning, so my friends & I are hoping this is gonna catch on eventually!
from top to bottom, the meanings of the colors are: loyalty/trust, freedom to love women, trans/nb lesbians, serenity, and pride/love for oneself.

Y’know I reblogged this a bit ago and was saved from financial probation and getting kicked out of school because of it, just mere months from graduation. Got a call from the financial aid advisor telling me that they made a mistake with filing my account (or some other sort of clerical error) and said that, basically, they owe me money. Welp.
