I see every one freaking out because it looks like Adrien didn't give a shit about consequences just to save Marinette:

But I don't think he did this only because he cares alot about her. It's just too irrational. It's not like Ladybug and Cat noir haven't fought many akumas before, why would it be a big deal to Adrien if Marinette would get Akumatized aswell, if the procedure would be the same as always anyways? It's not the first time someone he cares about gets akumatized.

Unless...

He KNOWS that if Marinette will be akumatized it won't be like always. That the risk of Marinette being akumatized is bigger than anybody finding out about his true identity!

In the trailer we also see this scene happen where he catches Ladybug leave a letter signed as Marinette

So many believe that this way he'll figure out that Marinette is Ladybug. I believe that aswell, and I also believe, that because of this, he reacts like he does to save Marinette from being Akumatized.

He knows Marinette is Ladybug, and he also knows that if Ladybug is Akumatized, there won't be anyone who can capture the akuma, and that there would be no way to defeat it.
